im an old dog, but im always happy to see new (or new-ish) members on NG.
i hope that NG will stay alive for many many years... its a great place, and it feels more like a family than an art website...
other than that, yeah, the clockcrew is one of the oldest animation clubs in NG, if not in the whole internet... (its been in existence since 2001, and its still going strong!)
im a member of them as well, and i really enjoy their movies+games.
