Yeah, my dog died yesterday. I loved him. Grew up with him. He died far too early.

The holiday thing is really weird. It feels like I'm leaving him in 2018. Like he'll be a thing of the past soon. I thought we'd celebrate with him.
True... I guess he will. Best leave the year with good memories though, and why not celebrate him too? The New Year's a good time to cherish all that's been, and move on at the same time.
