Yup, another promotion! Don't know what the chief's thinking, I mostly do paperwork. Ah well, I'm not complaning. I thought I was taking far too long with this, but when I calculated my average, it was around 4.2 B/P a day, which is pretty good by my standards. So yeah, I don't really have much to say about this one. I lost some reviews, along with a bunch of people, due to some bug fix they rolled out. I wish reviews of blammed submissions stayed in your count, it would encourage people to review things they think will get blammed. This way, that's kind of discourgaed, since you don't get anything from it, wiht the reviews being removed from your count.

So yeah, that's about it for this post. I do have some cool stuff coming up pretty soon.

And I totally agree on what you said about the reviews. I think they could work like reviews for deleted content, they remain there, but instead of linking to what that content was, it actually links to a "this submission was deleted" page. Reviews to blammed stuff could link to their Eulogy page. Afterall, the review stays at the eulogy page, why not have a link to it at the profile?

Actually, reviews on deleted submissions DON'T stay around anymore. That's what the update was. They removed them. Cyberdevil lost over 1000, Nekomika 900. I lost 30, and I don't even think I've reviewed 30 things that ended up deleted. But yeah, the blammed ones really should stay (because the people who make blammed content need feedback the most), but I think there's a legal problem there (or maybe that's for submissions removed by the author). Another problem is that reviews on blammed content are often abusive. I guess we would have to have a flag button for eulogy reviews, too, then.

Another reason a lot of users lost reviews is because of the whole Y8 fiasco.

You didn't hear anything about it? Y8 is longer allowing any sites to host any of "their" games. The reason for the air quotes is because some of the users here just had them as a sponsor, while having others, too, for their games. The other reason is that Y8 has no original content of their own, but they're threatening lawsuit against sites who don't take "their" games down by October 15th.

A lot of games got taken down in the past few days. Users have lost reviews and medals. It's been a big mess.

Oof. That sucks. Yeah, I do think a lot of the reviews I lost were on games.

And yeah, those reviews were a bummer. Y8 was just a small part of it though. Seems like all bad things do come in threes... wonder what the third thing was.....

Well I mean the Y8 games being removed were one thing - affecting mainly medals, but of course also reviews and such, and then the second thing: the reviews. On ALL submissions that had disappeared in the past... third one I don't know yet but there's bound to be something...
