I really like this one. The colors are great, and I love the design and the idea of a killer pumpkin. The smoke looks great. The seeds flying everywhere are a nice bonus. The action lines in this are cool too, and I'm a fan of the tentacle in the middle of swinging. Is it supposed ot be purple though? It would make sense if it was nighttime and the only source of lighting was the cnadle, but it's the middle of the day. it makes the eyes contrast nicely but I like the color of the part where the candle lights it up more. I kinda feel like this hsould have been a nighttime piece. It would justify the purple, make the flame stick out even more, and it would be cooler for a pumpkin. Regardless, I really like this.

The color scheme with this looks much better. There's detail and I like that you can see the muscles on the arm. The ornament design is once again consistent and has a flower/plant theme. The clean look makes a lot of sense, given your description, which, I assume, places them in a pretty favorable spot in society. I also like the shading here. The reflection on the sword handle is a nice touch. The stance is also fitting, given the heavy nature of the fighter.

Thank you for your detailed review! =D

That's a pretty cool (and literal) way to represent skill trees. It looks fittingly medieval, and I like how the trees twist. Since this is for a game, I might have to comment on the choice of words. I feel like it should be -won't hurt you as much- , or even -will hurt you less- because this way it makes it sound like they're hurting the character a lot, and it even sounds kinda condescending. Unless that's the tone you're going for, which I can understand.

NavrcL responds:

Thanks a lot for the feedback.
Yes, you're right, -will hurt you less- sounds better and I'll fix that.
Anyway there are probably a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes in the game yet, since we are not native speakers, but we plan to do some proofreading later of course.

I love the detail on this. The face gives off a clear angry emotion. Everything feels so swirly, it's nice. I also like the little whisker things on his upper lip/cheeks. If you gave this a fitting background some day, that would be awesome.

GuiserGestalt responds:

I don't think i'm going to continue you on with any of the pieces set out like this, purely because i'm slowly going to keep expanding on the new pieces i create by adding backgrounds as i get more comfortable with what i'm doing.

Thanks for your kind words.

A pretty simple piece, but it looks nice. I like the framing. The simplicity and the colors fit well.

DrSevenSeizeMD responds:

Thanks.
It's a screenshot from a music video. :-)
I think some people think I was trying to make a religious statement. I wasn't, lol

The colors are really nice and I like the way the waves are lit up by the sun. The more rough looking style fits the monsters. I like how much the water is drooping from them. I like the design of the monster on the left, its colors are really appealing and the head just looks awesome, and the third eye is cool too. The other monster, though, is a bit simpler and something feels kinda off about the way the water in the spaces between its scales looks. Maybe it's too light. The clouds in the sky are a nice touch. The way their shadows aren't just voids and there's still some light is nice too. Their shadows should be bigger, conidering they're pretty massive and the sun is behind them, although it would probably ruing the aesthetic. The design of the little guy on the boat is pretty cool, and there's actually detail on the inside of said boat. That's awesome! Great job overall, with some flaws, but a great aesthetic and detail.

Thank you sir! This piece definitely taught me a lot. I definitely agree on the shadow and the expected contrast when put against a blazing sun, that was something I had a bit of an inner conflict about- whether to saturate the colors and add more darkness, or to kinda break the rules about how the eyes see and adjust to color in different lighting and have a uniform level of light. I'll definitely be playing around with more nautical and sea-monster themes in the future, so we shall see how that turns out!

The colors look cool and I like the concept, but the laser is clearly not going through the part that's getting blasted. I like the effect on the pieces of head where they get blurrier as they get further from the head.

EduardoDraw responds:

thanks for the advice , i will , take the time for make a better piece the next time

That's real nice. Her hair looks like SPACE! The colors look nice without hurting my eyes and they certainly fit the aesthetic. Her design is consistent with the whole love thing. I like the shading you used as well. The butterflies are a nice touch. It's cool that you actually gave her visible abs. A piece that really nails its atmosphere.

I really like the setting and design. The style and the kaiju are clearly inspired by Japan (no duh), and I can appreciate that. It just looks really nice and the lines and eerything have that Japanese atmosphere. The colors are nice too. I appreciate the unfortunate hikers giving us a size comparison. Good job! Feels simple yet pleasing.

Was actually inspired by At the mountains of madness by HP Lovecraft but i like your interpretation aswell!

Oh my god, that's so funny! I love the expression on Walt's face, and how they both seem so utterly defeated in how they've lost hope, and how Jesse is clearly weighing Walt down and looks like a toddler pouting. I just think Jesse's face looks a bit weird. I like Jesse's baby legs, it's so accurate (not to the actual appearance of the character, but the way he's always bothering Walt). The way Walt's holding the tiny bag of meth is also really funny.
