I really like the style and the detail. I would have liked it if the purple was used to emphasize the yellow, instead of the other way around. There's lots of detail, which I really like. I like how you were consistent with the ornament design on his armor. His armor is a bit torn up, which makes sense, as he's an undead gladiator. I feel like you could have gone a bit further with that though, because he looks mostly intact as it is now. I'm not saying he should look completely busted up, just a little more ragged would be cool.

well said! thanks for the great suggestions! =D

I really like the sand and the background, they feel real yet dreamlike and all the colors blend together really well. i like how you incorporated the same blurry effect into the wings, it makes everything look a lot more connected, instead of there being a huge difference between the character and the background. The character herself also looks nice and is colored nicely. My one complaint is that some of the objects on the ground look different from the ground itself. They give off a similar vibe, but they just don't fit well.

Fits the style of the animation perfectly, and the faces are just as derpy as they should be. I especially like Homer's wrinkly face with the beard that makes the mouth look even more beautiful.

Carbonwater responds:

I should have made Homer's shading a bit darker, make it more obvious. But oh well. Glad you liked it!

Looks good. The strong lines emphasize the muscles well. It all feels strong and it's nice to look at. The snake in the tattoo looks a bit derpy though, and I don't like the hand holding the rose.

Very creepy indeed. Looks like it's always shifting and is at home in the...well, shadows. Looks put together from scrap. Probably the representation of many different people's inner demons or just a forgotten and thrown away being. A representation of pure darkness. I don't really think the horns fit the character very well though. I think the eyes are also a bit much as they're more over-the-top scary instead of silently creepy. The rest of him feels more empty, but the eyes and horns look more like he's supposed to be super scary.

Kaolinn responds:

Thank you so much for your words, the shadows elements were the most important to the commissioner and it I'm happy you think it's successful!

Normally I like lots of detail, but in this case the lower amount of detail works quite well. The monster is completely emotionless, with black eyes, no need for anything besides food. The sharp lines and slightly rougher style make it feel more menacing and primal. I actually quite like the design of the face. Pretty cool monster.

Sweet Jesus that's freaky! The rough, nightmarish style with only red and white works very well. It's great as a serious piece of art, but also quite funny. I like the detail when it comes to the faces and the burger. It's awesome that Ronald's actually cross eyed, that's such a cool detail! I also like how some of them have saliva running down their chins. Weird as hell. I wish the bird's body was a bit more detailed though. Great piece of art overall.

Stradomyre responds:

Woah thank you for the insightful comment :D I really appreciate it! I'm glad you liked their disgusting chin saliva heheh

I think I was pressed for time during the end since I drew this in a class I wasn't paying attention to I think, but I too wish I made that bird's body more menacing. Anyway, cheers! :D

First off, lots of detail in the background and character and great art and style. Lots of lines make it look very trippy. The character design itself is very cool, but what amazes me most is definitely the background. It is an infinite being, so of course it would reside in a limitless realm that combines all times past, present and future. That's why we have cave drawings on motherboards and DNA strands to combine the organic and inorganic fully. Utterly stunning and detailed work of art.

Character design is very good. You can immediately judge their character from the way they look. The smoker has big eyes, making her appear more cold, whereas the other's eyes have shrunk from shock. Nails, hair, lips and the cute one's earrings also differentiate them. Shading and lighting are also really good, and I love the background.

Looks very good, and I like the monster design. The rougher style makes it look like a savage beast. It really looks like it craves death. I'm not sure where the king of death's legs are though. I think I see one, but that would make him weirdly short for such a character. By his stance I can tell he's either completely cold-blooded and emotionless or he's bored. I guess that would be logical, considering he's surrounded by death constantly. It also looks like none of the people can see him, and I just noticed the dead body. Good job, but maybe make the anatomy a bit clearer.

Enjoyyourlife8 responds:

Huge thank you bud for such a comment, really appreciate this! Nice to see you liked it.
I can honestly say, I don't know in what moment I forgot to think about the anatomy hahah! In the beginning I had it under control but you know the feeling you when you trying to look at everything at the same time in the end, it is always some part what missing and for some reason yes. He looks almost more like a dwarf now and the leg is there, you need to see really close. Behind the creatures hair on body it is but but.. more practice!
Thank you!
