Having now seen the movie, I just had to look through some Peni art again. This is nice. I see those little blue/red edges. That a reference to the movie's artstyle? Anyways, I really like her expression. Cute and fun, like in the movie. Dynamic pose, too. Not really a big fan of the solidly shaded hand though.
Overall a neat piece of fanart, not the greatest but neat.

That's a lot better! I really like the legs extending from the eye now. The hood you gave him in some of those is cool too, accentuates his outcastiness (wtf is that word?) and just looks nice. The color scheme is a lot better, it's not just a 50/50 torso/leg split. The marionette cross is an interesting idea, though this reminds me a bit of the christian cross. Maybe if it was crossed just a bit closer to the middle? Still though, I can't really fault you for that, I just don't have the right association probably. Keep it up, man! Happy New Year!

Stradomyre responds:

Thank you!, I'm glad you like the hood! Little bit of a nod to Hastur. And yeah the likeliness to the Christian cross is intentional so the face value association would be "religious" cult and whatnot, and the puppet cross would be the other explanation yknow. I'm not good at describing but yeah haha thank you again and cheers!

Well at least you didn't lewd her. I love the joke here, that she's Japanese and gets the threat of octopuses. I just hope Doc Ock isn't aware of the same concept. The animation is smooth too, and it's cool how you gave her legs some muscleage.
Just please don't lewd her.

Diives responds:

Thanks!
And easy, those tentacles wont make anything else

I really love the concept of this Spiderman. The body horror bits have your distinct touch added to them, and I like that. The stuff that happens to him is pretty creative as well. The wit in the narration is just like Spiderman. That first panel looks really cool with the thing drilling into his hand. I think you could have gone just a little further with the costume, added more creepy stuff. The panel where he's wearing the costume with his hand morphing seems low-detail and I guess like the linework isn't very good. Overall a cool idea but could have been a little better in some places. Guess you put most of your effort into the body horror lol.

Stradomyre responds:

Thank you! Yeah haha I didn't mean to go this far with this whole thing to begin with so little thought was put into the costume. But after seeing how fun this concept and character was, I'll definitely look into it more. I wanted to change up a lot of his look but by then I had already colored him haha

Cheers man I'm really glad you like it! :D

I don't know how you do it. All of your art looks amazing. Always. You can pull off Brooke in any outfit imaginable. As usual, the face is really cute. And goddamn, the wrinkles on those jeans! Such a realistic detail. Their texture is great as well. And the entire outfit is fitting, really. Keep it up in 2019, my man!

I love it. Filled with detail, as usual. I love how quirky the robe is and how it's way too big for him. It looks so cozy and warm. The design of the sleeper himself is really fun and quirky too. Keep it up, man!

I wanted to review this but never got around to it. I really love it when you do things with this style. All the blood on the ground is really cool and I love the way yo udid the eyes. Making it look entranced, which makes sense since it's an undead. If not entranced, then certainly insane. The soke is a nice touch as well, though I'm not sure what's causing it. It would be cool if all its wounds were smoking, but they're not and the bugs are surviving on them, so I don't know. The tongue smoking is really cool though, and the bugs themselves are cool too.

Omenomicon responds:

Thank you for your review! It means a lot to read it when i've been so sick the bast week aha!

I really like your interpretation of it all! I know the red eyes are from a Black Dog legend from america... but I cannot help but think peering out into the pitch black and seeing red glowing eyes that you would be fixed on them first, in fascination and fear of knowing it is something unnatural.

The smoke from the wounds would have been a cool touch! If i had thought of it i surely would have added this! The bugs certainly wouldnt mind. It makes sense for a steamy smoke to be produced when heat meets bitter cold.

That looks really cool. I love the idea and the colors are really nice. The lighting is a bit auestionable in some places in terms of angle, but it's nice overall. Really cool how you provided the sense of scale with the guy. Nice framing as well. The texture on the rock the guy is standing on is really detailed and looks hard for sure. The shape feels unsatisfying to me forfor some reason, but that's not really your fault.
For yoyr first time attempting a new technique, this was great! Very detailed and good-looking. Keep it up!

Eurns responds:

Thank you!! :)

Nice lighting and I really like the colors. Would be a neat environmental piece even wthout the blob monster and roof guy. The blob is nice and cute, and both of them fit in with the environment. I'm imagining their adventures now.
Overall a neat environment piece with some cuteness mixed in.

Thank you so much for the feedback! Glad you like it

Wow, those outfits were not meant for winter at all. They both look attractive though, and the difference suits the characters. They're also very nice in themselves. The plushies are a neat idea, they're really cute too, I love Pixen's eating that chikken.
Merry belated Christmas, this was a nice piece!
