I really like the joke, and the plague doctor guy looks great. I like the style, colors and design of him, with those more vibrant colors accentuating once again that everything is indeed fine, and that he's an interesting, fun and cool guy. I really like the light on the tongue, it looks really cool. The lighting in general is really good. Like I said at the start, the joke is great. I love the person crying next to the burning building. I like the lack of detail on the other people that distinguishes them from the protagonist as just regular people. The guy heading towards bird-boy's intentions could be a bit clearer though. His facial expression says he's angry and not running away, but his stance says he's running, and it doesn't seem like he's running to teach the guy a lesson. I hope you know what I mean.
Great job overall though, very funny and cool!

TheDyingSun responds:

Thank you so much! I've been having fun with colors, and I had fun with shading the tongue as well! But I do get what you're saying about the guy running towards bird-boy, drawing poses from the front isn't exactly a strong suit of mine, so I'll be sure to brush up on that. After kind of going over this one, I think I like more story based illustration such as this one. It's fun and gives room for fun expression. So hopefully I can do more stuff like this. Again, thank you so much for the feedback!

I really like the classic style. It fits the characters so well. Their faces are very expressive and say a lot about them. I like how Darnell is using a makeshift flamethrower. I like Nene's pose, because it shows she's completely psychotic, but it just seems like awkward foot and leg placement. Darnell is clearly more cautious than Nene, but his pose still shouldn't be so wimpy in the legs. It's also cool how you contrast their attitudes with colors and appearance, though I guess that's kinda down to the original design. Anyways, I really like the style and character portrayal but the posing is kinda awkward.

Thank you for the feedback!
In all fairness, I'm not very good at leg posing. But I will practice more.

Weird but funny at the same time.
The colors are very much your style. There's just something about your art, it's so smooth and the details create some very realistic and immersive stuff. Seriously, you're one of my favorite artists, which might not mean much, but it's something I really mean. Your art is very high effort always, and even if it's just simple fun it's still really cool.
With this one I really like the colorful exterior and derpy face. The legs also add another shade of humor to it.
Keep it up, you're awesome!

I really dig the wacky style. It feels mundane but also kinda energetic. It kinda looks like an old-school style. The shot composition is also nice. The colors are very bright and vibrant, but for this kind of thing they pretty much have to be. I like the wacky, multi-colored houses and the shifting hills, though I don't really like the sea of houses in the background. They make the place feel more crowded than they should. I mean, I don't know the story so I don't know what kind of place it is, but it just doesn't feel right, especially when you consider that they're on intensely grassy hills. Another thing that doesn't really fit in is the train. It's far too much of a straight line compared to everything else. That could be the point, since it's where normality stops and this place begins, but it still doesn't feel quite right.
Overall, you've got a very cool style and this has lots of detail, but you might need to get a better sense of where what should be.

The scene works well with your style, and it does feel like a hot summer. However, there just isn't anything that interesting in this. Not much detail, the colors are pretty boring, there isn't anything cool or funny or weird. Sorry, but this one just isn't that interesting. The sun also looks kinda weird and small, I guess because most of it is behind the blinds.

I like the alternative style a lot, it's pretty cool and fun. Mario and Luigi's expressions are great, especially Mario's, he's just completely stumped. I also like the contrast with all the enemies freaking out underground. Their faces are pretty funny, too. That purple turtle guy is really cute. I just wish there was a toilet or something else clear there that they're plumbing.
Overall, I really like the contrast between the mundanity and the crazy stuff going on underground.

UltimoGames responds:

thanks! I could try and make a toilet that is screwed off. A local GameShop sells these pieces on canvas, but need to order them first. so I still have time to add/improve some things. Thanks for the feedback and compliments Thegamingtrickster!

A simpler piece this time, though still pretty cool. I don't know the character, but your gore is awesome as always and works nicely with the cold blue color of the...exterior. The facial expression is also cool and I like the eyes with how those blue dots add depth. The cuteness adds fun and some contrast for the gore. I really like the different parts you can see in the gore, especially the brain and wavy darker stuff. Keep doing what you're doing!

That is some detailed pixel art! I like the design and the fact it has a pen for a hand. I like the thin, intertwined body as well. I'm not so sure about the yellow-green combo with the shading, and the right shoulder is just black, which is weird, since it shouldn't be that dark and there's only a couple other places like that. It seems too inconsistent. I also can't tell what the black hand is. Is it made of ink? Why is it shaped like that? Is it smaller pens dipped in ink? Or just long nails for no reason?
Overall, it's detailed and a cool design, but there's some shading and color issues.

That is one KILLER of a color scheme. Seriously, it's beautiful. The statues, I'm guessing, were inspired by Lord of the Rings. The little blue dots scattered around add something a little different to the picture, like a little magic stuff. The sun is definitely prominent here, the title makes sense. I'm guessing this is supposed to be some sort of empire, it might be cool if you added some sort of palace or city in the background, that would be cool. Maybe also some houses by the shore that those boats could have come from. The Ronin dude is awesome with the classic flowy thing. The distant mountains look pretty cool too. You do some pretty nice environment pieces, and this color scheme is seriously awesome. Just, like I said, a city or something and some houses would be nice.

MLeth responds:

Thank you!
Yeah I just kinda added things as I went which is usually the case when I do these kinds of paintings. I just had the general shape of the mountains from the get-go so the guardians were an afterthought I just went with!

Oof, that's metal. There's a lot of detail, and you've got a great aesthetic. The subversion thing has been done before, but it's still cool. Jeez, they're hideous. Awesome, too. I like the bigger one better because he(it?)'s got more cool details and feels more terrifying. It's also got some sliminess to it. The smaller one looks weirdly cute, which is kinda interesting. I kinda like that. Keep this up!
