Beautifully done. I love how you made the foreground and background detailed and animated. It really adds to the beauty. It's very nicely animated, too, and the colors and lighting are pretty complex and they feel unified, nothing really seems misfit. The composition is dynamic and adds to the unity. The one complaint I have is that the rays of light shine through in a bit of a rapid rhythm that kinda offsets the chillness, but I know it must be super tough getting it all right and making it loop smoothly.
Happy Pixel Day and thanks for contributing!

Wow. Such atmosphere from some berries. I really appreciate the more dark and realistic take. I think the background fits perfectly. Colors definitely pop, but in a more visceral, fleshy way. It's almost disturbing looking at the swollen berries, eternal in their shadowy beauty and temptation.
Happy Pixel Day!

Thank you so much for such a thorough review!

First thing I thought when I saw this was ancient Greek-inspired. Maybe that's just wha I think when I see muscular dudes and celestial bodies. This one works more on simplism, which carries the point over very nicely I think. The halves of the Earth look pretty cool and are a good example of that. Colors are pretty red, but I think for this one it works. It's a warm one, even though it's space. Feels poetic, new moon, new start from the simple splitting of a giant planet and the seed of a complex being, compared to which the Earth is nothing. It's the next step. The warmth is the warmth of celestial evolution, a waemth entrusted all to one being. That's my thoughts on this one, sorry if it got a bit rambly. I like the diversity your pieces have.

Dude, I love the colors on this one! I mean, they're all great, but this one is just my kind of thing. Love how the hive works with the suit, really seems to glow.

Interesting that it's a businessman with the hivehead. The worker bees probably represent... well, workers and the honey I guess is money. Interesting how the hive seems to be made of parts stacked on top of each other. Always a quest for mire money in new avenues, but the honey ends up leaking out. The contrast with the suit gives me the vibe that it's a personal thing, it's not in the interest of his company or whatever. his greed doesn't work with the business he's in and will be his eventual downfall. Maybe a somewhat childish aspiration in a cold world, perceiving money as honey and his employees as happy little honeybees. Even if it's not what you intended, I like that this piece has made me think, and it did so through detail and originality.

Otherwise, I love the detail on the little bees, especially the one carrying pollen. Looks wonderfully retro but the hive and suit have sufficiently different textures. Keep it up, dude!

Oh shit I just realized this is LWA. I don't uhhh... is this an OC? I really can't remember this character. I like the colors, they're bright but grounded by the uniform. Nicely done, the hair and pumpkin might have been unbearably contrasted otherwise. But that lollipop glows so magnificently. It's really the highlight of the piece. I like the slight haze and blurring, it's well done with that warm glow around the edges of things. The sketch is nice too, it looks more like the show/movie's style, so we kinda get two distinct interpretations with it. Keep it up and hope you had a great Halloween!

Thanks for such a detailed review. I apprecieate it a lot!
And yeah this is my OC in LWA outfit

Utterly, utterly horrifying. The fact it's done in MSPaint only makes it more grotesque and abominable. The colors really intensify the horror. We must pray that Doug Walker never discovers his hidden potential.

Beautiful colors. Simple premise but very well executed. Love the way you drew Zombor. Honestly Crono's pose and expression feels a bit flat compared to the monster's. It also seems a bit awkward cause he's bending over in a weird way, not very battle-like. Could just be the angle though.

Orlek-sketch responds:

Thank you very much for the feedback! I'll do my best to improve!

Dang, this is actually pretty cool. Bit of a simpler style, but it fits and is actually well done. Pretty nice variety of gore, classic premise/composition, nice action complemented by the colors. I especially like MAG Hank's arm and the lightning in the sky. However, there are a couple things that could be better. For instance, the rock they're standing on looks a bit flat. Maybe a bit more shading/detail there would have been good. Jebus' head and sword also look kinda awkward, just not very appealing. Either way, good job and happy Madness Day! Keep it uo and here's to hoping you get scouted soon!

flipout6655 responds:

Thanks.

Good points on what you suggest needs improving. I did have a bit of a challenge trying to decide what to do with Jebus and his sword given the angle I wanted to attempt to show. It still ended up looking not quite right as you say.

Fuckin hell, this is awesome! I love the Auditor boss and the fact he's actually doing a ground smash attack like in a real game. The character info in the corners is really run as well, poor Sanford lol.
Basically another great game emulation, looking even better than usual, really not like you just put the sprites in place, it feels so accurate. Keep it up and happy Madness Day!

Happy Madness Day to you too!
