This one is a bit better, because it has more action. You seem to know how to do strategy, good job. The main character isn't a never-missing killing machine, either, making it more interesting to watch him. Still, though, this is too short.

Well, it's very short. Try not splitting it up into episodes by rooms and instead put it all together, because this simply isn't a satisfying whole when watched on its own. When you post a movie, it needs to feel complete, and this clearly isn't complete. So put em all together when you've finished them all and then post. The animation was decent, though. It was a little choppy, but good for a beginner and the takeout was pretty cool.
I basically agree with the general consensus. The lack of music took a lot away from it, the beginning especially was very awkward, because you just hear Wanda's boice as Junji and it'd kinda... not exciting. If you're doing an anime parody, you need to make it at least a little over-the-top and that means anime music and sound effects. Junji could have been a little more over-the-top too. The jokes, however, were pretty great. Making fun of the absurd naming conventions and tropes, with just the right amount of main character humor. Junji's inner thought part was weird though, it just sounded like hellish screeching by the end. Underwater predator and Sworn Defender, as well as the grandpa were my favorite parts.
Ok, I need to know, what do you use to animate these? The movements are so incredibly fluid, is it some 3D animation software?
Anyways, this one was cool because of that and the aesthetic, like usual with your stuff, but also because of the music and the way the shapes turned into objects. I'm sad there weren't more transformations like that, though, could have told more of a story.
Overall a nice surreal little experience, but I do wish there was a clearer message/story here.
That's some really nice animation and I like the signature wacky style. I liked the humor, a bit memey but not too much so. I really liked the dark twist and teh atmosphere here. The music was perfectly picked, very quirky and fitting. I loved the scene when Gabe was looking in. Keep it up, it's nice seeing these comedic takes on madness!
I like the artstyle, though the animation is a bit choppy. I like how you did a bit of mixed media. Some cool transitions, like when JR's face turned into a clock. Your narration is pretty fun, I liked your witty remarks or whatever you'd call them. Also love the "I'm gonna beat you up... during lunch" line. The story itself was pretty interesting, it had a satisfying ending, though I do wonder if JR ended up beating you up, maybe you could have addressed that. Keep it up, man, you've got some real potential.
I definitely would've liked cleaner animation, sadly I had to work mostly on 3's and 4's to fit the whole project into such a tight deadline :/ I'm glad you liked it though!
That was an interesting one. I was skeptical about a new narrator, but this was very nicely done. The voice acting was actually great and the story was really good, even though I don't really remember much about Medias Corps I actually liked this better than a lot of Nwar episodes. I loved the visual gags (the Medias Corps anagrams, the vlog, true crime book, etc.) You probed a whole different culture here, millenials and journalists. Whereas Nwar was an old detective, she's a young journalist, so the nature of the references and puns is completely different, and I like that. Surprisingly enough, you handled the abbreviations well enough, showing that side, while also making her a competent reporter. The story, like I said, was actually gripping, you were wondering what would happen. Follows the 'reporter trying to reveal huge evil corporation' tropes pretty nicely, but the twist at the end was unexpected, at least for me. Also that final joke lmao. The puns got a bit hard to follow, I 'm not too well versed in some of the topics, I guess. Some of them were kind of weird and a stretch. Also I think her investigation techniques were not-so-believable sometimes. I don't think you can trace fingerprints off coins with a pencil. Overall pretty funny, though, and I liked the subtle callbacks. I feel like the animation was a bit repetitive, and it seems others share that opinion.
Keep it up, this was the best episode in a long while!
This was nice. The art style was cool, my kind of thing. The voice acting was really good. A bit one-note, but it works for the characters. Speaking of characters, I really liked Scooter. He had a good design, and his personality was just the right amount of annoying. Poor Bubbles didn't even get to answer any questions. The joke and punchline were kinda predictable, but it was still a nice bit of entertainment. Keep it up!
Thank you for your critique. I appreciate you watching. Did the humor fall flat? I’m trying to make this a weekly Q and A series. But as of late I feel like it’s just not super funny. Anything you wish would’ve happened?
