The gore is really nice and the animation is fluid. You seem to have gotten the movements down too, which is a rarity with new madness animators. The grunts try to move away and one of them reaches for his wound. Good job, I'd love to see you do a full-fledged madness animation!

Darkenblot responds:

Thanks a lot. Tbh I didn't really expect to get positive reviews as it was my very first time animating madness. I'll try to improve and make it smoother next time :).

There wasn't very much animation, but the style was nice. The jokes were okay. Maybe you could have done more though, since mostly it was jokes at the ends of steps and I feel like you could have done more with the steps themselves. I liked the cow/carrot in bread joke and the tortoise lettuce thing. The "cows making lots of burgers wasn't that funny though. I was hoping you would reference that blue topping by calling it a potion or something, it could have been made into a pretty cool joke, I think. So yeah, keep practicing, you've got some pretty nice jokes but you need to work on incorporating more of them.

Such a wonderful melody! The animation is pretty nice, and it's a funny concept. The melody really is quite satisfying. However, the ending could have been more interesting, maybe the character could have collapsed into itself or stretched out like crazy or melted or something like that. Even a (funny/fitting) sound effect added would make it better. Otherwise, I hope to see longer things from you in the future (though you probably have some already, I just haven't checked them out).

Cockadoodledee responds:

Yeah, by the end I was just itching to end it, so I used the cheap powers of motion tween. He should of collapsed. GAH. Thanks though dude :D xo

The style was pretty cool and weird. I liked the fight with the red goblin guy (sorry, I don't know Legend of Zelda) when the sounds were actually referenced in the battle. The action itself was also quite good. The swords breaking was also pretty good. The final Ganon battle was a bit confusing, since I thought the sword had already shot its attack because of that little spark. Some of the animation was quite nice, and some of it was not. Some of it left me a bit weirded out. Overall, a bit confusing and weird, but it had some cool ideas and jokes.

artistunknown responds:

You are right the final battle is pretty confusing, and that is entirely my fault and it's not even justified. The explanation though, is that when link goes to swing the master sword, it runs out of power, as indicated by the spark, because in the game, instead of breaking like other swords, the master sword runs out of power, except it can't run out of power in the Ganon fight, so that part's not accurate, I just thought it would be funny to have it seemingly run out of power. Link then tries to throw the sword away since it ran out of power, but when you try to throw the master sword, it shoots a sword beam instead, which, idk if it can do that when it's out of power, but I'd imagine not, so I guess the only explanation there is the master sword is trolling Link.

Thanks!

The animation is okay, but I like the style. I have indeed not seen the previous episodes. I've seen that short you released recently and the first episode, but I liked this. Sublo and Tangy Mustard are the most interesting characters and the things they do are really funny. However Katy and her friend just aren't that interesting and the joke about her art being child level has been done before and didn't even reach a satisfying conclusion. But the drunk Sublo and Tangy Mustard (+roommate guy) were great. Overall, the character dynamic is great though not all the characters are great themselves.

I thought I'd have to "sit through" this because it was so long. I loved every single second of it in the end. The voice acting was great, I love the characters even if they aren't the most original. They're still very funny and charming. The whole "traumatic memories erased" thing is great, it shows a more serious side and I really like how it's implied that the captain is actually very messed up and is trying to hide it by acting like an idiot. It kinda reminds me of Rick and Morty, and maybe Archer a little bit. The animation was superb, I loved the colors and style, and the music was cool too. One thing that sticks out a bit is the spaceship chase part, because the CG doesn't look the same as the 2D animation. It looks good, but not the same. So yeah, great comedy, fun characters, great animation, great voice acting, a great concept. What else do you need? That intro about the next episodes being different was nice too. So yeah, great job, definitely keep it up. Please. I'm not sure how those next episodes will play out with Ghostworth as the main character. I do love him but I've gotten invested in this captain and their dynamic is great. Though I think that with this much talent involved, it's not going to bother me too much.

The animation is VERY nice. The music is cool too, and the style does really fit. The narration was okay. I do wish you didn't have that weird out-of-place static image. I mean, it gets the style right, but maybe if it were at least a little animated, it would feel more like it fits in. I'm talking about the one with Erich Zann, maybe if it showed him playing maniacally or something. The one with Cthulhu also looked a little weird, but that's kinda the point, and it felt surreal. Also, I get that the music is supposed to be deafening, but I couldn't really understand some of what the character was saying when I first watched this. Overall, a pretty cool trailer, though I do wish that one image looked a bit more frightening.

The animation is great. I also really love the style of the humor. It's very weird. There was something very satisfying about them breaking things at the supermarket. The voices are great too. I don't know, I just love their weird conversations and nonsensical actions. Keep it up for sure!

Oh, that was a really good one! I loved it! I also realized I wasn't following you. No idea what that was about. The animation seemed a bit different in this one, but it was still cool and had some awesome moments. I love how that June Bug exploded completely. This actually felt really suspenseful. I loved the Demon Lord guy's fingers pumping things into the heroes. That black goopiness was really scary and I love how Chutney started to, like, hallucinate. It looked really great. So did that shot when he went flying. And that ending was awesome too. Very satisfying, and funny too, since it was so unexpected. The part before the Skull Lord showed up was very funny too with the June Bug. Great job on this one, very cool in both a serious and funny way. Keep it up!

R.I.P. Duck.

ChutneyGlaze responds:
