Oh, this was a funny one. The characters are at their best, and I like the joke at the beginning where they're just like "this isn't about the weed", because the bread obsession is clearly much more important. My favorite part was when Kelly was in the toilet, because of all the sounds and his confession and stuff. I also liked the part where Kelly put buttered bread in a book. Maybe Kirsten could have done the last line a bit stronger though, but that's really my only complaint.

RocketAdrift responds:

Thanks! There were so many sadder takes of Kelly on the toilet we had to cut them down XD

The concept was quite interesting, and the animation and style are pretty cool. Some things needed work, though, but it is a student project. I quite liked some of the kills, but the voice acting wasn't very good, and some parts of the story seemed kinda pointless. Like, the guy who didn't believe the.scientist died immediately after that, and the guys who carried him away just sort of forgot about it, I guess. Also, the ending is a bit weird, since it didn't seem to have a clear point. Events also developed kinda quickly, so it was a bit disorienting. I definitely see potential in this, though, so keep doing what you're doing!

Thank you for the advice. I'm not really a good voice actor and I would love other people to do the voices instead.
Also my storytelling could be better as well. I'm glad you have better understanding of my own cartoon than I do.

The animation is okay, but the style isn't the most comedic, and the clip you picked to animate really isn't funny. It's also really short.

The animation is very nice and the style is great. I like the story, and it definitely didn't go the way I thought it would. It was kinda like The Giving Tree in a way. The puppy eyes were great from both a story and comedic standpoint. Gramma was super cute too. I suppose you could see some false kindness in this world from the beginning. The cake shop owner seemed a bit evil by design. Moral of the story: Swans are evil incarnate. Seriously though, this made me really sad. Overall, it's a great little movie with a nice message that never gets too serious and always remains enjoyable. Music was nice too, sound effects could have maybe been a little bit less slurpy when it comes to the lip-licking, but it was okay.

Sijbren responds:

Thnx for the nice review :D

It feels very jittery and isn't very well animated. You seem to be missing bullet lines in some places, so those could help a bit. It's also very short, maybe you could have just combined all of these into one longer movie. As for the animation, I guess just keep practicing, maybe ask someone for advice.

Mark-Uhl responds:

Thanks for your review , im still practising .

The style is super cool, and the story is interesting, though not the most original. The storytelling is very visual and there's some really creative imagery like the castle growing az he tries to run further away from it. The animation was cool as well, though it might have been a little bit choppy. It has a neat message about not being able to escape the past, though the ending was a bit confusing. I'm guessing it's supposed to be him confronting his demons head on, and, through that, they no longer bother him and he's able to see clearly without the bodies that used to be there and he realizes that that's all in the past. Now it's just another place. However, it was done a bit weirdly, without any clear symbolism. Was it maybe supposed to be a religious message? It just kinda happened.

The animation is nice, and I like the style. You picked a pretty good clip to animate as well. The multiple chins are great. It doesn't overdo the animation and do the thing where everything is just freaking out and people's arms are extending and stuff. Like, that can be funny, but I think you did a good job without it, so you didn't have to run the risk of overusing it. The first half, maybe, isn't really that funny, but it picks up in the later part. Those dabs tho.

Pretty good animation and an interesting premise. I like the cut-off line and the way the styles switch and it's absolute chaos once he drinks the energy drink is pretty cool. Voice acting was also good, so was the quality.

Enophano responds:

Thanks!

The animation is good, and I love the idea that everything is basically spelled out for the viewer. "Clarification", "The personification of evil" and I like the way it's done with the whispering. The premise is also interesting. One complaint though is that I just can't tell what the first line is, and also that before the fly commits the act of violence, the YouTube caterpillar seems shocked, but then he's smiling again. I do appreciate the reaction that happens just before the act is committed, I just don't see how he switched back to happiness so easily. It doesn't really make sense even if you take into consideration that it's a derpy comedy.
