Certainly a very cool style and an interesting premise. I like the nonverbal nature of it. It was exactly what the title implies-an encounter, a brief, unusual encounter, and I like that. I really like the look of the hunter. The arrow part was certainly the height of the movie for me. That shot was really cool, with the slow motion and the fast movement of the arrow turning the environment into a rough, moment-long swirl. The animation was in parts very, very good, like in the arrow part, the shot of the ski-tourist before the arrow was fired and some other parts that weren't really part of any big action sequence. Other times, the animation was choppy, but I like the rough, shifting style of the action, and the ambiance in this is great. The music was pretty cool, and the sound design was as well. I like how the tourist just sat down in the end-I guess he witnessed pure nature. This was very good, except for some of the choppier animation bits, but it feels like it makes up for it.
