Well animated, which is to be expected, with some great action and gore. There were some really cool moves and a lot of kill variety. I liked it wasn't just a "get in, kill everyone" type of Madness. There was comedy and I liked that magician part, especially when the guy got the wand and starting executing everyone awesomely. The elevator kill and the gun bend were both cool. So was that other time when the guy snatched a guy's gun normally. The machete kills were also awesome in their gore. I do wish we would have actually seen the G0L3M guy die. The joke was nice, but still. Also, as a suggestion, have different text for different characters. Great madness overall. I need to watch the rest of this because I have no idea what was going on.

Thank you for great review!

Ok animation, a cool idea and some neat visuals and transitions. The music fit well. I just wish this was longer because it could have been even more wild and crazy.

Yeah, I kept thinking the same thing... But I couldn't get anything out of my head that seemed to fit what I was working on.

Consistently great art with great symbolism connected by consistent themes and creative visuals. There were clear driving themes that everything connected back to, like the masks and greedy officials. The symbolism made sense and wasn't purposefully hard to understand. The music was also great and fit very well. I have to say again that the visuals were incredibly cool. The dramatic crescendo at the end is very strong. I love the use of color. Throughout the whole thing it's mostly grays, until the end, when humanity lets go of all the manipulation and people learn to be themselves and color starts bursting out. The same goes with animation, there wasn't really any animation other than that very last moment. I just couldn't understand the negative symbolism behind all the pills. Are they supposed to be a representation of how people are made complacent on a massive level, or is it something about actual medicine. Also the part where the baby was being vaccinated. The editing was great and it was divided into core segments. I like how when people start thinking for themselves, the world just crumbles for some people. This really touched on all topics, from racial discrimination through brainwashing (the media kind), the masks people wear and to the government. Absolutely astonishing, I will certainly recommend this to a friend.

A fun, short little history lesson. The art was good, and the animation was pretty nice. The voice was good too, although the quality wasn't the best I think, but it was a university project. The editing was nice, and the presentation was easily digestible and clean. Overall, a good educational video. You might wanna change that rating to T though, because of the slight murder. I know there's no gore shown but still.

Pretty short, but kinda funny. Art was fun and the punchline was pretty nice, although, to be honest, the 'and it was all a bad dream cop out ending' was funnier.

Nice animation and pretty funny dialogue. Homer's voice was hard to understand though, so it took me a couple listens to figure out.

Carmet responds:

Thank you for the kind words! But yeah the reason why Homer's voice is like that is because I'm not a native English speaker. Glad to hear you enjoyed the toon!

The animation is good, but it seemed to get a bit choppy at some points. The plot isn't that original and the voice acting could use work. Why doesn't Rota have the same accent as everyone else? The narrator sounds like he slurs his lines a bit. If you need help, just ask in the Newgrounds forums. I could see this being interesting as a full series, just, like I said, ask for help with the voice acting if you can.

PiratePudding responds:

Thank you for the comment!
This film was made under a short deadline at the Animation Workshop, and I had to use the people at my disposal at the studio, so most of them weren't trained in voice acting.
This trailer is only supposed to be a note of intent, but I will do my best to have more polish for the next part.
As for the accents, most of the voices are from Danish people, except for the messenger and the Grandpa, who is not supposed to be Norse, but Slav. So he has a different accent from his granddaughter on purpose. ;)

Some interesting ideas in this one. I liked the error message one because it was funny, the games pan was cool because of the transitions. The first transition into Pacman was really cool in particular. The music was actually really cool too. The Tetris boss battle felt a bit too slow. The one with the demons was a bit boring to me, I didn't see what game it was referencing and it didn't really have any outstanding visuals. The chess one had some cool things, like the hand having its own hand, and the other guy having an arm come out of his head, as well as the chess pieces flying away. I didn't really like the guy constantly doing the licking thing, it wasn't very funny, and i would have preferred some trippy visuals if you were going for weirdness. The pretentious game one was pretty funny, although it ended before it really got to any over-the-top rampage scenes that would have made it funnier because it would just be such an overreaction. Or at least a final shot of the guy holding all the weapons would have been nice. Also, I feel like you shouldn't call suicide forfeiting. I like the joke with forfeiting having ridiculous consequences and the 'Please don't forfeit in chess' line, but I just feel like that was a bit inappropriate.

That was fun! The animation was good, just a bit stiff, for the most part. The art was nice and fitting. At first I was just like "Ok, and...?" because it was just talking about food, but then the milk part really caught me off guard. It was just such a great segment. It was fast paced, fun, and had cool camera movement and animation (mostly in the leaves, the guy's turns weren't that smooth). The transition to that part was also really good, with the milk filling his entire body and then the camera zooming into said body to a world of wonder. The segment has certainly been done before, it isn't that original, but I couldn't help liking it. One problem, though, is that I feel like the first camera spin went on a bit too long and there was a static moment before the guy started flying which slowed it down a bit. Pretty fun overall, I hope to see more from you guys!
