Well, it's an interesting concept and it makes sense that it's weird because it's based off a dream, but I think it's a bit too short. It could really do with a bit more ambience and slower animation, cause the way the other guy who talked showed up was a really fast transition, it kinda breaks the pacing, and so does the way the pink person is shown hitting the ground. It needs to be a bit slower, and if you wanted it to have an effect of sorta being swallowed, you should have left it until the very end so it could have more impact and had another scrolling build-up shot of the people falling or something else.
Basically this has conflicting pacing between the atmosphere and animation, you need it to be a bit longer in the future or just try to animate it so it's slower or leave the movements with a lot of momentum to be at a more impactful point in the animation. Just keep that in mind if you're making this a series.

Thanks for the advice, I will consider it in case of editing.

You're right, it could be more horrifying ... with those transitions.

Wow, now I see why everyone loves your stuff. The style is great, just really cool. Love the blend of realistic and surreal, the gloves in the glove compartment were fucking great, that's my kind of humor. "Are you under the influence of any drugs or alcohol?" "Uhhh, lemme check." lol. My only gripe with it is that the distorted voices are a little hard to understand at times, especially the police officer's. By the way, I dig the first person perspective thing, have you considered making or made any games?

It's not really a movie, more like a gif that loops twice. You could post it to the Art Portal (with a little less delay between dives) as a GIF. I don't really feel like it's fit for the movie portal, doesn't really leave you with any experience, it's more like a test. The score I'm giving you is not meant to discourage or insult you, I simply don't think it's Movie Portal material. I like the sound, though, so I'm giving it half a star.
P.S. Nice to see that you're learning a new avenue of animation.

Hikaya responds:

thank you for your feedback.I am new to newgrounds is it a standard here that the video must have a certain length with a clear story?

It looks pretty nice, but I don't feel like it should be in the Movie Portal. You could submit it to the Art Portal as a gif instead. Just isn't really complete or a movie. I generally think movies gotta leave you with a sort of experience after watching, I'm sure you understand. This is pretty nice to look at, but it's not that.

Oh yea, my badddddd. But I get ya.

Fantastic music in this one, absolutely love those moments when you're just like "shit's going down rn". No idea if the pond ghost is any sort of character or just a random clump of CE that happened to be there. Either way, he was pretty cool. I love Henryk episodes and this was definitely an interesting one, especially cause we saw Mischief's reaction too, and the idea of danger lurking has really been reinforced. Some absolutely striking images and monologue here with wonderful symbolism that, as usual, gives the episode that depth it needs. Henryk's tie either represents his mental or physical state, I'd say mental since it came to a comfortable stop when he was with his wife and is now tucked behind his coat. He's hiding himself, closing himself off, pretty consistent with him generally. The radio bit on Cerebral Electricity is interesting too, some food for thought regarding the symbolism of the CE itself. Keep it up, man! The story keeps getting better and better!

Thanks man! :)

I like these, they're a bit short but since the sound adds something I do think this one should be in the movie portal. I feel like you could have had more sound in the first half to ease us into it and just establish a cute atmosphere. The voice acting sounds kinda out of place this way. That and it could sound more excited.

I liked that. The artstyle was fun and the animation was pretty good. The humor works as a sort of absurd view of movies and shows like this, at least that's what I got from the dialogue. Kid is dumb, parents barely see anything wrong with a talking dog, etc. Kailey leaving was handled a little too seriously though, you should have stuck with the humor or tried to develop the characters a bit more earlier on, because like this it's kinda half-way. The voice acting could have been a little more enthusiastic and/or louder at some points. Scene transitions and camera pans also need a bit of practice, but it's nothing major.
Overall, I like the effort you put into this! It says "young cinema lab" so I'm guessing you're... well, young. That means you've got a whole lot more ahead of you and I'd love to see you improve your skills as you go. Keep it up!

Kintuin responds:

thank you !

Maybe you could slow down the pace, it's pretty fast. I do like how he extends his legs as far as possible. Kinda the laziest way to walk. Kinda dragging his feet a little. Pretty cool walk cycle, I like that you showed the process. I'm giving it a low score because it's pretty short and a test, but still, good work!
