It's very short. Not really much happening, and it doesn't even really stick with the creepy Salad Fingers vibe. That cube thing that took the hairs wasn't very creepy, more sci-fi. The text was nice though. That goofy intro was unnecessary. The ending was a letdown, and I'd have preferred if the guy bled where his hairs were ripped out. The creepiness of the man also wears off pretty quickly, but I like his empty eyes. In the future, please try to flesh your concepts out more and make things creepier.

That was...weird. But also cool. I like the idea, though it is a bit "why is this a thing". Guess that's the point. The animation was nice, and I liked the Cretin's look. Simple but pretty spooky. I love the way the styles switched as it bit into, the apple, that whole part was weird and cool. I loved the shot where he moves his biting spot, it was very....gory. his face while doing it and after he was caught was funny. I was going to say that the lady at the end gasps a bit too much and it's not really convincing, but, to be honest, it adds to her face at the end there, where it's just kind of a letdown from the gasping. But I do feel that part should have had some music or something to accentuate it, the gasping was still kinda weird. Those water drops at the start seemed to skip a beat with the sounds.
Overall, a fun(ny) little exercise in weirdness. You should just take a bit more care with the sounds, otherwise it was quite good for what it was.

very fair, thank ye

The animation is nice, but it's not that original and lacks substance. Which makes sense seeing as it was originally just a thingy for your reel. The style has been done before, and it feels a hit too blocky with the explosions and stuff to be really satisfying. I liked the strategy of speed vs bulk though. The music was nice as well. The ending was a bit disorienting because the little guy's fire trail was orange, when his color is blue. The slow-mo was just cool, wince I'm a sucker for that stuff. Overall, not very original and pretty short, but I'm sure you can do better on something that you really care about a lot.

Furas responds:

Yeah, actually I understand you point :/ I know is not perfect and it not pretended something with narrative weight, just a action shot. As I said this comes from a part of my animation reel and there are some stuff like the vfx explosions and other with Im not fully satisfied. But this end result, desing and render wasn't in the original idea, it just came along the way and I felt it needed it while I was animating. At some time I took october as my personal deadline to finish this and the others animations and finish all yes or yes, just to not keep it any longer and start new stuff. So yeah, I know I can do it better if I want to do something serious from this, you have a point in that, but I thought this was cool enought to show around here, better that than hidden in my PC thought. Thanks for giving an analytic and constructive feedback its always welcome :)

Oh, that was nice! Really good animation and I like the atmosphere. Most of it was world-building, which is pretty nice, and it's really nice how you kept showing Synths getting abused and stuff and then you had one doing something. Of course, this story has been done before, and a lot at that. That doesn't mean you didn't present it in an interesting way. Like I said, the structure was nice. That opening bit was also really unsettling with the mangled Synths. Another thing I realized after thinking a bit more was that it wasn't only one Synth doing something about it. We were shown 2. One seemed to be a deranged killer, and the other was the hacker. This showcases how the same oppression can be fought by different revolutions, but in the end, if you kill a bunch of innocent people (assuming these were innocents), you'll be called a terrorist and sabotage your cause, unless you manage to overthrow the government (in which case tyranny and uprisings probably ensue). I also liked how you showed the hacker used to be a sex droid. The ending itself was cool as well, even though we don't know much about her motivations, you give us some hints about her past and also her aims with the advertisements skulling out. One thing that could've been better, though, was the news report title. I feel like it's not very realistic. Most likely it would be "act of terror commited by Synth", since that's the topic and would draw people in. I also just wanted to ask- what were those three sitting together doing? I feel like it's obvious, but I'm kinda stumped.
Overall, good job, only minor flaws, this was very cool and you should totally keep it up! You managed to condense a lot into visual storytelling.

That was nice. A cool style and an imaginative story. Not what you'd normally expect. Very cute, seeing as how she was doing it for love. I like how you incorporated the crescent moon and things, it was very logical. Really like it when stories do that, incorporating real stuff into the story, explaining it. Just like you did with the stars. I liked how she shines even brighter now. The only thing I didn't really like that much was that the ending was really rushed. It just sorta happened, the Flashlight princess got home somehow, and I don't even know if she knows she has the moonstone since she might have been asleep when she was given it. Just seemed like things happened without much build-up and it just ended. The narration throughout was nice though, and so was the music.

Pretty nice voice acting, but I have no idea what the guy who fell over was gonna say, so it's kinda lost on me. I guess the whole thing with bad stuff happening to you when you don't drink Gerald's is funny. Oh, and of course that innocent, yet unsettling voice that cheerfully narrates your demise. A decently entertaining short, but maybe it should have been more obvious with where the line was going.

Oh, man, that was kickass! I love the concept, the character, everything! The songs are really awesome, too! Only problem I had was some stuff was slightly hard to understand, but that's kinda the way it goes when it's so musically charged. I really liked the way everyone seemed to love Flex in hell. It was great, and I loved his advice and everything. I really appreciated the badass God of Valhalla needing him to resurrect Rock 'n' Roll. I don't get one thing though, why was he kicked out of there if his band was the greatest ever? Just seems kinda weird. Anyways, he actually seems somewhat relatable, that Flex. I mean, he's not invincible and he clearly has feelings and can feel compassion. That fight scene though. Fucking amazing! Minimal choppy animation in this entire movie, and that was just top-notch! I really loved the way the camera kept moving, though maybe there was a bit too much arm-climbing. Either way, it was very cool and energetic, and Flex's fighting style fits his character.
So anyways, this was super cool and fun, and I can't wait to see more of it!

The visuals were really good, the opening shot was beautiful, that beetle looked awesome, I really liked the wrecked plane. The voice acting was good, except for the fact that the character seemed to constantly be switching tones. Some hand motions also seemed a tad weird and the woman's nodding just looked kinda awkward. Other than that, I really like this. Very good-looking.

The animation is really nice and that flamingo is cute. What actually happened is unclear though. Did he just hit the flamingo? Try to murder it? He didn't seem to be bothered by the rain so I'm not sure if the umbrella is the motive. Doesn't seem like he tried to kill it, because it was fine in the end. When he walked on screen he had a kind of innocent expression, even looking sad about something (definitely not the rain though) for no apparent reason. The way it was edited also makes it seem kinda like a car hit the flamingo, and the guy's expression also looks kinda confused and/or sad about it. Maybe if there was a black screen with a punch sound, and then the shot of the Flamingo passed out and the guy holding the umbrella, that would have been better. The ending is pretty nice though, and I found the "quote" by Mother Nature funny.
Overall good animation, but presentation was a bit confusing.

Pretty slow build-up to a disappointing ending. I really liked how the hammer first hit the table. It felt really satisfying. Just not a big fan of the evil hammer look and the way it leapt at the camera like it was gonna eat it. I like the style though, and some parts were pretty well animated. I know you can do better, because this was just a class assignment!
