What a cool one! I really like the Halloween version of the theme. Loved how Wubhammer legitimately hasn't cleaned the bathroom in 13 years. Loved Katy's reaction to that as well. The entire dramatic backstory is just o funny. Sublo and Tangy Mustard's idiotic comments and chill attitude throughout the whole hing were super funny as well. "Katy's no more what?" was such a great line. The way Sublo's eyes just fell out and he almost didn't react was great too. "My eyes! I'm practically blind without them!" The way they thought Katy may be fine after all because she said they'd suffer her wrath was great. Wubhammer's reaction to Katy flying was also priceless. And, man, has this episode got nice animation. From The Booglin flying and disappearing to its weird floppy walk at the start it was great. Night Shift Charlie's heroic sub sandwich battle was also great. Loved everything he said, too. Great ending. Him being introduced out of nowhere was just perfect. Only complaint are some slight word timing issues on Tangy Mustard's part.
Great job, there are only minor complaints with this one. Might be my new favorite episode.

Pretty funny. I really liked Sublo's extreme new look. Like @Xuvero said, I like how Tangy Mustard just goes over to Katy because he's so worried about Sublo and Katy reacts meaningfully as well. Then the way they go into "it's a sexual thing" is great. Wubhammer's reaction is also priceless and I love the music during that segment. The girls at the start sound perfect in terms of voice. Ending's perfect as well (and the voices are, too, like always). About the metaphor thing, it is a bit weird. Sublo was definitely doing this because of his insecurity, which fits the character, but it is true some people might take offense. Because just changing your look can be done for lots of reasons. This is one of them, to make people understand what you're supposed to be like, so can't really fault you for that. But it's a conflicting thing. He says no one likes the boring him, so it means he did this for people to like him, not to understand that he's a submarine. Maybe those kinda go hand in hand, but they're not really the same in this case. It's a bit confusing either way.
Overall, it's a fun episode, but the story's a little weak and confusing.

Aaron-Long responds:

Yeah I think this one could've used another rewrite to clarify things a bit.

Oh, this was great! The story has kinda been done before, but this still felt pretty fresh. Animation was pretty nice, and even when it wasn't perfect the rest more than makes up for it. I really like the main character's (though Pianobunny is the real main character) design and attitude. That music at the start is actually really good, too. I liked the subtle stuff, like the girlfriend taking care of the bunny since the very start, and the main character caring more about fame than her. I liked the story, too, I don't wanna be the "society nowadays" guy, but that is basically the case here. Like, I could see Pianobunny and his live performance being a real thing. Love the way girls keep throwing themselves at him (and it's fanservice, so y'know). Like, jeez, the guy went to open the door, you shouldn't have been naked by the time he came back, let alone in the middle of it with the bunny! Anyways, the ending was great, too. The kusic was perfect and epic and that twist was pretty nice. Main character's descent was also highly believable considering his characterization. Those newspaper articles as well, some very slight spelling errors here and there, but very entertaining.
Overall great job, this was great!

Oh man, it's so true. Loved the toads' reactions to the trash can, completely disregarding what she's saying. Their faces are funny as well, especially the tall one and the sniff faces. Sniffing was funny too. The style was nice and cute, and I love how much Peach hates the Supercrown. Background music was nice and cheerful too. Unfortunately the ending doesn't feel that satisfying and (this is a minor one) Bowser's voice at the start is a bit unintelligible. Maybe making it just a little bit louder so we don't have to crank up the volume right before Peach's scream would have been nice.
Overall pretty funny, but the ending is not very satisfying.

What even? Your videos are so random, and yet I still love them, they have such charm. Loved the voice acting, though it was pretty hard to understand. It worked really well with the moment of sneakiness with the pillar and the...penetration. the Darksouls bit was funny to me, even though I don't know much about Darksouls. I liked the random goat joke, but some stuff was just unnecessary, like the Deja Vu meme. Don't get me wrong, I love Deja Vu memes, but there was no proper setup of any kind so it just felt pointless. I probably didn't get some references, but whatever. I liked the dead Link showing up, though didn't get the point of the scroll. Probably another reference going over my head. But I liked the line of "Excuse me, what the fuck?" and the way he looked when he was petrified. Medusa just shouting her name like a pokemon too. The whole thing with playing as a girl was nice, too. The Taco Bell thing might just have been the most random joke in the whole movie, and yet I still found it amusing, because of the sheer "why is this here" factor. Liked the guy's crewmate pointing out the scroll and flying away with the "Ho ho ho". The Herculad thing seemed kinda pointless also.
Overall, despite the randomness and not getting a lot of the jokes, the voice acting is so charming and I did find it funny overall, just some bits didn't really fit in or went over my head.

That was funnier than I was expecting a promo to be! His "piece" looked really weird, so I didn't like that joke very much. I loved the ending with all the baseball players showing up. Got real spooky. I liked the joke about the 4K too. But wait, is that true?

CharlieEmerson responds:

Thanks for the comment! I agree his "piece" is strange looking, and yes! It is 4k ready where available!

Such beautiful voices. I liked how random and silly it was and how everyone's reactions seemed underplayed. The ritual was also super funny to me 'cause it was so stupid. I love how they just randomly started peeing on him again and his own misdeeds were great too. Maybe a little more emphasis on the "Say, that's too much soap!" line would have been good. Makes it easier to understand as well.
Overall this was funny in a random way, but a little more emption would have been nice.

I like the style and the characters are cool. It's an interesting premise and it all feels kinda normal and day-to-day. The dialogue was hard to understand sometimes because of the accents though. I liked the humor, like the horrific injury and the foreman guy's (is that how you say it?) commentary on it. The guy's sick face was great as well and I loved the stop they made. Those two have some real chemistry. The backdrop of the baseball game is nice and fits the theme, as well as providing a nice ending. The random dialogue at the construction site was pretty nice as well.
Overall, a cool concept and I really like the characters and style of the comedy. Keep it up!

@Xuvero's review was quite interesting on the subject of their differences, but I'd like to add something to it. Tangy Mustard is, indeed, the cool one. He doesn't care what other people think and he's confident, unlike Sublo, who is awkward and insecure. We saw this when Sublo tried to draw a beard on his facehole to be cooler. This actually makes sense with their dynamic. Sublo goes along with Tangy Mustard, which is why they're so similar. Sublo is impressionable so Tangy Mustard's confidence imprints on him. At least that's my thought on the subject.
Anyways, about the actual episode. It was funny. The animation was once again pretty nice. I liked how Sublo & Tangy Mustard legit reiterated everything the other said the whole time. It wasn't just a joke you threw together. Also loved Tangy Mustard's creepy backwards speaking and the way he had to subsequently explain everything. Katy's attitude fit perfectly and I quite like Xuvero's explanation in regards to it.
Great job again, I have to watch the next episode soon! You really are talented.

Aaron-Long responds:

These are some good insights! I've been thinking about this stuff lately since I've been working on pitches for the show, and trying to verbalize the characters' personalities instead of just intuitively writing them like that. I think when I was writing the first few episodes I wasn't really conscious of this stuff but it just kind of naturally developed like that somehow, based on the performances and what I thought would be fun.

My God, this was fantastic! Definitely the best one yet! I really liked the wacky character animation and Katy got some really nice character development. Everything really showed how hard she's trying to fit in and how stressed-out she is. Loved the guy throwing her off the table they were dancing on. The snow on the outside also looked really nice. I was pretty much expecting this episode. Every comedy these days decides to get serious at some point and introduce character development. You did that masterfully. I knew it was gonna happen from the moment it started when I saw the beautiful snow, but you still made this feel like it was Sublo & Tangy Mustard, not a different show. The whole thing was packed with some of the best jokes so far and the character development was delivered in such a way that it didn't stop Sublo & Tangy Mustard's antics. I really loved the escalation of the fight, especially Marvin breaking the plastic cup. Tangy Mustard's dancing and ability to get with Vanessica (great name btw) was also funny to me. The guy who brought the rock and Sublo's reaction to him were great as well. I also liked the more subtle joke of Sublo missing the meaning of Tangy Mustard saying "thirsty girls". Wubhammer's hobby was also really funny, and it really came around in the end.
Like I said, some of the best jokes yet and some wonderful character development and cool animation.

Aaron-Long responds:

Yeah I wanted to strike a balance between maintaining the usual tone of the show and getting into more varied situations so we can get to know the characters better outside of work. This is probably still my personal favourite episode.
