I really like him! Love the detail. That light, absolutely beautiful. You really took care with making it perfect, logical. Really like how his eyes are kinda bloodied with age, I guess. I get he has battle scars, but maybe he should have a few less cut-looking things on his nose and more in other places or have parts of the skin on it lifted up if that's the cause of the abrasions, you know, like he's snorting air and his nose is pushing up his skin. Otherwise, love the expression. One more feature that seems slightly off. For such a big man, his upper lip seems a tad too small/thin.
Keep it up, man, you're doing great, very good attention to detail!

DeimosArt responds:

Thanks dude, i'd love to hear more from you in the future!

Well, you've got an interesting style. I like the rat character, pretty clear what their personality is like. Finn Hardwolf also, kinda random but kinda Bojack Horsemaney. What exactly happened when the shopping cart fell over was kinda unclear. There was also not really an ending punchline at all and the other rat just kinda disappeared. You need to clean up your art a bit and try having some kind of punchlines.

OFTENLICKEDNEVERBEAT responds:

Understandable, the last 2 panels are pretty unclear. It was done as a quick doodle, my other art is hopefully more clear. and its a possum not a rat. Basically it was a kind of homage to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xHrTbRA0XQ. It was initially a request for this nerdy possum character "spaghetti'ing" or having an awkward moment when seeing a mildly famous person.

I like the design, it's quirky enough. I especially love the sparkle in that top eye. The legs feel kinda out of place, though. They're not very interesting and, I don't know, they look kinda simple/flat.I can't see him walking on those. Maybe if you made the "foot" part stick out forwards more clearly or somehow showed us he can bend them a lot, that'd be pretty cool. Also, if you showed him swimming and not laying flat in the water, I think that would make him feel a lot more, well, alive, less like he was just quickly pasted onto the background.
Sorry for the low score, but you yourself said you did this quickly and I know you can do much better. Keep it up and good luck if you ever decide to use this!

Rennis5 responds:

Thank you for your review, he has flipper feet, i feel like i should have given him toes or made them match his hands but i wanted him to look like he could swim fast.

Oh, nice! I'm watching the show myself. What was your favorite episode? (Was it three robots?)
Good job with the shading here, it's great. Super detailed so it very nicely replicates the 3D artstyle of the episode. Nice choice of pose too, despite not really having to do with the episode, it works great with the series' overall feel.
Keep it up, man!

ArindamDhar responds:

Hey thanks a lot. My favourite episode would be 'Beyond the Aquila rift' along with strong contenders like 'Zima Blue' and 'The Secret War'. I really liked the characters of 'the three robots' especially this guy. I even liked the artstyle of 'the witness'.

I know this is an old piece, but I felt like reciewing your work a bit. Really like how many styles you use. This one is really interesting, because it's kinda simple with the thin lines and everything. I guess it gives off a dreamy vibe and I love the kinda ancient influence on the tail (at least it looks like that to me). I'm not too experienced with horoscopes, but I really like the melancholy feeling here. The colors work great with that and the facial expression is great. The red is great because it separates the background, like the character is paying no attention to it. The text "Pisces" fits in perfectly. And lastly, the tummy. It looks gorgeous.
Such a great piece, you really do feelings so incredibly well, I guess you're a very empathic person.

Caaath responds:

Oh, thank you so much again! I'm thinking of making other versions for the other signs too!

I adore this style! It's so cool! The piece looks a bit exaggerated but that's part of the Madness charm. The monster Tricky looks particularly badass, I liek the huge teeth you gave him. The composition is also great and I love the detail. I like how evil and hateful the axe Tricky looks. Love those clones hanging off of Sanford as well. Sanford's face is pretty funny, but it fits him perfectly in MC11. Like those little ATPs in the BG there, they're fun. The only part I don't relaly like is Hank. Only one of his arms would be black and it's weird seeing his palm open. I get why you had him relax the fist, it fits the feel, but it looks pretty weird and I feel like Sanford is already the helpless one. Hank needs to be the badass here.
Keep it up, you have heaps of talent!

Rhunyc responds:

Thanks for the review! Very kind :D His arm that's black is his new and improved crab arm that the auditor gives him towards the end, his other arm is missing / evaporating. Thanks again!

Detail aside, since your stuff is always beautiful, you gotta love this design. It's wacky, feral-looking and super fitting for th description. You can see they're in a frenzy and mindless beings that only wish to sustain themselves. The red gums are perfect as they immediately bring to mind blood and devouring. I also love that third one's flappy lips. They're so funny.

VonKreepula responds:

Thanks much! Glad someone can see these mongrels the way I intended them to be.

It's perfect! Simple but really effective. I love the round face, it's so silly, and those seductive eyes! I also really like the style, because it adds a certain charm. Also gotta love the bits of not-quite-erased stuff around the paper. For real, I do like that. It makes it feel homey and special somehow. Thank you so much, dude, I did not expect the drawing to be this interesting.

Hesiolite responds:

Wow, I didn't except such a feedback ! Thank you man ! I'm really glad you liked it. It was a pleasure to finally make this happen.

If for nothing else, I gotta appreciate this for the variety and the colors. But I also appreciate it because it's damn creative. Not every character is over-detailed, so the details don't get stale. The ones that are detailed look awesome! I love the, uh...Latino imagery? Keep it up, seeing new art from you after a while made me really hapoy!

Caaath responds:

Aww, thank you, for everything! I'm really very passionate about the Latin, African and Asian arts and I think my character creation reflects a bit on that ... I'm glad you've observed that reference, I feel honored, really!

Probably the best Pixel Day submission this year I've seen! I love the colors and the sorta minimalist design of the robot. An old-timey kind of futuristic, I guess, with some modern touches. Love the core thing it has. The shading and the details like the places it's smashing into the buildings and the guys at the bottom are really nice I have a couple complaints though. The furthest helicopter looks linda weird and the spiky things on the sides of the robot's head are not the same length (especially cnsidering the longer one is on the side the head is tilted to, so it should be shorter) and it really throws the cleanness of the design off.
Overall a very cool piece, but it has some strictly mishap-based errors. I doubt they were caused by your lack of knowledge on something. Happy belated Pixel Day!

TheDyingSun responds:

Oh snap! I didn't even realize the spikes were off, thanks for catching that! And yeah, that furthest helicopter looks like it's about to drop from the sky! When working on a piece of this magnitude, yeah... I'll keep an eye out for things like that next time, because I know it won't be the last intricate piece. I know what you're talking about and setting a good amount of time for clean up before posting would help me out in catching those teeny tiny errors I see pop up. It's kind of funny too, all of the little details I forgot to add swirl in my head after the fact. I'm still glad you enjoyed it!
