It could use some detail, especially on the left side of the screen. The colors don't look very nice either. The right hand is weird because some of the lines are in a different color. The lines could be cleaner too, and that extra line under the "Newgrounds!" shout seems unnecessary. The face is pretty nice though, and I always appreciate NG-themed art. My advice is to keep practicing. You're only 14, so you've got a lot of time to improve.

Inkmachine responds:

thanks ill make it better soon

Very interesting character concept indeed. Your style works really well with it. There's a nice amount of detail too. The pose with the creature is quite interesting. My one problem with it is that the character is very short. I mean, I'd get it if it was, like, a dwarf or something but I just don't see why a robot would be designed that way. It just seems inconvenient, you know? It kinda lowers the cool factor, too. Otherwise, this is a fantastic piece.

ahmonza responds:

ya I get what you mean. the person who commissioned me liked the final result, but the character was suppose to be a automaton molded after a she elf. I think I got everything else right, however the shoulders are to broad (I wanted to show off that it was a mechanical in nature, and did not focus enough on feminine qualities ) as a result the figure ended up to masculine.

Your artstyle is cool and really goes well with this. You also nailed the decorations on the page. Also, the concept is quite bizarre. A fun, weird little thing.

PapaLegba responds:

Thanks bro google "biggie MONDU"

Pretty cool soldier design. It isn't that original, but that's just the way with soldier designs usually. It's pretty detailed and I really like the style, as well the simple background colors and the stuff that seems to be flying behind the soldier. The helmet is probably my favorite part of the outfit, it just looks cool.

ArindamDhar responds:

Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback. Really appreciate it. I'll try to make some unusual soldiers next time. haha. :)

Very cool and detailed, and really good for your second attempt, though he might still look a bit weird. I would love to see the first one, it sounds amazing, but, of course, it is a family member, so I doubt he would agree.

MazzyJ responds:

Thanks, yeah he does look a little odd but that may be because he didn't have his teeth in at the time and since he is half blind and his good eye can't see very well either he was only looking in the general vicinity of the camera, he is 91 after all. Afraid I can't show the first one, I created both on the same piece of scratch board, when I had the board cut and framed the other piece was lost.

Oh my god, the style! I love this! The face is great, and absolutely nightmarish too. The idea of having bullets for teeth is interesting, and looks nice with this, but it doesn't really build on any sort of context in the picture. It looks really good though, so it is still cool, just maybe you could remember it and use it thematically for another piece as well. I really like the sort of invasive black haze that seems to frame the picture, and the cloud in the background looks really good. The wall around the exit door is really good, too. Overall, another great piece from you!

LittleLuckyLink responds:

Thank you! The idea was definitely a bit sporadic :)
To me this one symbolizes and mirrors some of the alcoholics I've met throughout my life, and how they'll prattle on about their entire life story, occasionally starting fights and explosive situations. Perhaps I shall revisit the idea at some point!

God, I like your style. You're quickly becoming one of my favorite artists on NG. It looks really shiny and nice in your special way. You're really good at the shiny things. It's also quite cute, and the tail wag is really nice.

Caaath responds:

Awww, I'm so glad you like my style! And all your support has been special and important, thank you!

I'll say it again, the style of this game is great! I love all the detail and it fits perfectly into the medieval aesthetic. I really like the grass as well. I also like how the houses are scattered, it's a real mountain village. Although I don't think I've ever seen a road that branches off towards a house, goes through the other side of the house and loops back to the main road. I don't know if that was intentional, or maybe that's a thing people did. Another thing is that the chimneys seem to be made of the same material as the roofs and it appears as just a sort of hump on the roof itself, and it looks a bit weird when the roofs are already not even. Speaking of which, I can't really grasp why they would be that way, but it looks nice, so I can go with it, except for that front house with the chimney, whose roof has a very sharp change in the middle. Still though, overall it looks really cool and this game is gonna be great.

NavrcL responds:

Hey, thanks a lot for such a great feedback and I really appreciate you like the style.

Yeah, that weird stuff you mentioned wasn't intentional, I just didn't concentrate on those details as much I should because I didn't have enough time to finish it. There's sooo much stuff to do on the game and so little time.
You are of course right and if I have time later, I try to polish it more.

Anyway thanks again for such kind words!

Love the style, and the concept seems really cool. The way the whole thing seems to be sort of leaning to one direction gives this a really interesting vibe. There's a nice amount of detail too, though I can see what you mean with the thing about how it could have had way more. I hope you have more luck with finding inspiration for your future pieces.

Enjoyyourlife8 responds:

Such a comment, really Thank you budy!
Yeah absolutly, I think what caused the feeling, I had the bar way higher and I didn't feel like I reached what I wanted but still I didn't know how high it was. Just to continue pracitce!
But thank you again and continue be awesome!

Looks pretty cool. The style is a bit simpler but I feel like it could lead to some great action. The colors are pretty cool too, so is the design.

PanName responds:

Thanks much! :D I do indeed have a habit of simplifying things. Sometimes too much, sometimes too little. KISS, Keep It Simple Silly was a slogan my master slapped me with a lot.
I also typically try to simplify things in practice of animating in the future~! cx
