I really like the joke, and the plague doctor guy looks great. I like the style, colors and design of him, with those more vibrant colors accentuating once again that everything is indeed fine, and that he's an interesting, fun and cool guy. I really like the light on the tongue, it looks really cool. The lighting in general is really good. Like I said at the start, the joke is great. I love the person crying next to the burning building. I like the lack of detail on the other people that distinguishes them from the protagonist as just regular people. The guy heading towards bird-boy's intentions could be a bit clearer though. His facial expression says he's angry and not running away, but his stance says he's running, and it doesn't seem like he's running to teach the guy a lesson. I hope you know what I mean.
Great job overall though, very funny and cool!

TheDyingSun responds:

Thank you so much! I've been having fun with colors, and I had fun with shading the tongue as well! But I do get what you're saying about the guy running towards bird-boy, drawing poses from the front isn't exactly a strong suit of mine, so I'll be sure to brush up on that. After kind of going over this one, I think I like more story based illustration such as this one. It's fun and gives room for fun expression. So hopefully I can do more stuff like this. Again, thank you so much for the feedback!

I really like the classic style. It fits the characters so well. Their faces are very expressive and say a lot about them. I like how Darnell is using a makeshift flamethrower. I like Nene's pose, because it shows she's completely psychotic, but it just seems like awkward foot and leg placement. Darnell is clearly more cautious than Nene, but his pose still shouldn't be so wimpy in the legs. It's also cool how you contrast their attitudes with colors and appearance, though I guess that's kinda down to the original design. Anyways, I really like the style and character portrayal but the posing is kinda awkward.

TMNTSam responds:

Thank you for the feedback!
In all fairness, I'm not very good at leg posing. But I will practice more.

I like the alternative style a lot, it's pretty cool and fun. Mario and Luigi's expressions are great, especially Mario's, he's just completely stumped. I also like the contrast with all the enemies freaking out underground. Their faces are pretty funny, too. That purple turtle guy is really cute. I just wish there was a toilet or something else clear there that they're plumbing.
Overall, I really like the contrast between the mundanity and the crazy stuff going on underground.

UltimoGames responds:

thanks! I could try and make a toilet that is screwed off. A local GameShop sells these pieces on canvas, but need to order them first. so I still have time to add/improve some things. Thanks for the feedback and compliments Thegamingtrickster!

That is one KILLER of a color scheme. Seriously, it's beautiful. The statues, I'm guessing, were inspired by Lord of the Rings. The little blue dots scattered around add something a little different to the picture, like a little magic stuff. The sun is definitely prominent here, the title makes sense. I'm guessing this is supposed to be some sort of empire, it might be cool if you added some sort of palace or city in the background, that would be cool. Maybe also some houses by the shore that those boats could have come from. The Ronin dude is awesome with the classic flowy thing. The distant mountains look pretty cool too. You do some pretty nice environment pieces, and this color scheme is seriously awesome. Just, like I said, a city or something and some houses would be nice.

MLeth responds:

Thank you!
Yeah I just kinda added things as I went which is usually the case when I do these kinds of paintings. I just had the general shape of the mountains from the get-go so the guardians were an afterthought I just went with!

Wow, I didn't even know Interface had fanart. From a fellow fan, you captured Mischief's character pretty well. This almost seems like a pose he would actually strike in the show. I like how, even with the gray tone, the mouth and facial features still stick out so much. I also like how spaghetti-ed up he is and the way he's dangling his legs high up in the air. The lighting is so ominous, which is fitting, though his attitude remains unchanged. The rough style is also reminiscent of the series, and the static-like background is too. Good job on this, it's a great piece of fanart!

Gaussamer-BTD responds:

Hey thanks! I'm glad you liked it! I love Interface so much, and I had a blast drawing this one. I was interested to see how it would turn out with my greyscale, sketchy style, and I was pleased with how well it turned out. You should really check out U M A M I's discord group. There are a lot of great artists there who have made fanart, as well as their own projects (among the usual discussions and memeing of course). In fact, through that discord, Umami will occasionally hold competitions. The most recent one was to make a piece of art mashing up Interface with pop culture. It's a blast.

That's a very cool style and an interesting concept. I don't know what it's supposed to represent though. I suppose a sea of information flooding the world, and the tree is the only untouched thing-maybe it represents nature, and the only way to avoid the sea is to go under it. That's just a guess though. Maybe you could have made the mountain and tree stand out a bit more, the cloud things are very strong in comparison, though maybe that was the point. I do quite like the light at the top, and the clouds or whatever are pretty cool too. The lower part of the picture is definitely my favorite.

Username047 responds:

Thank you for your feedback :)

Just like we expand and dominate nature, so does nature try to expand and dominate us. It just seems like a pointless struggle in which humans refuse to live in symbiosis and nature suffers at our modern comfort expense.

You were spot on almost, you supposed extremely well.

Aww, this is nice! It's very soft and cute. The colors are really nice and I like the spots on the frog's stomach. I feel like this is the frog pope, or it's trying to take over the world. Like a genius frog! The composition is pretty nice and the painting can be divided into thirds. One thing I don't really like is that the branch poking through the leaf feels much sharper and cleaner than the rest of the painting. It might be due to the colors. It just makes it stick out. Also, I don't get why that leaf is floating above the stump. Is the frog trying to press it down (like a genius frog)? That's cool. There's also a finger on the foot pressed down on the leaf that seems to be a bit too far away from the others, and the fingers themselves and the leg seem very short compared to the others. The eye-snails are pretty nice. Overall it's a pretty nice fun piece with some flaws.

EvanScale responds:

Great feedback once again! :)
I agree with your notes. There are a lot t work on, but I will be uploading more stuff in the future, hopefully better as we go. I have lots of studies and practices planned!

This is a really cool style. I quite like the perspective and the idea is pretty fun as well. The clouds, while cool, don't fit in with the perspective. Maybe that's what you were unhappy with? Still though, you've got a cool style, so keep it up.

hexic54 responds:

That could be it perhaps, I see now how it looks out of place with everything being in a difference perspective! Thank you, I appreciate your feedback! :-)

Very detailed. I like the color scheme a lot, it's quiet yet cool. Makes me feel like an epic pixel battle is about to go down between some fighting game characters. Seriously, there's an unbelievable amount of detail, even the sky in the background is lit up by the city lights. The boat just seemed a little off to me for some reason. Maybe it doesn't look as perfect as I'm expecting, or the lines are too curved or something. Still a cool boat though. Just my first impression was that the picture had weird curvy lines. Then I looked at it a bit longer and realized I was completely wrong.

Kldpxl responds:

Thank you! I appreciate your comment.

The style is great, as always, and it is a cool design. The colors are great too. However, I feel like the creature doesn't look as powerful as a God-Eater should. Maybe a bit less of the fungus stuff and a bigger, scarier face.

MrCreeep responds:

thanks! i feel ya. I was trying to make it look like it was ripping through a fungus portal that popped up in the middle of a black void. maybe i could do another with it completely out :)
