The animation is bad, understandable as it's your first time. However, the really jarring thing here was Torture's size. In the first shot he's twice the size of a normal grunt (still way too small) and then he becomes grunt-size. At least, that would be the case if grunts were normal-sized. Instead, they became tiny and the background remained the same size, making the rooms huge. You also need bullet lines. The plot was non-existent too. Why was there a gigantic gun just randomly lying there? Why was Torture even there? What was his goal on the roof? Oh, and the elevator scene lasted too long.
Try to add more action for your next animation, have an actual plot and try to make the sizes of the characters normal. At least I liked the way he blasted through those two Engineers.

thank u for giving your opinion, yea i know this animation really sucks!, im trying to make my animations better

A nice short clip. The concept has, of course, been done before, but I still liked it. It was cool how you showed the process. At first she was black and white and rough in a void. Then you dragged on a black and white background. Then you added color. Really liked how she kept going in circles around her little world too, it was a fun detail. The animation wasn't perfect, but it didn't need to be and it was charming. The background music was also pretty well chosen and fun.
Keep it up, I would love to see more from you, this was a nice short!

Kavallier responds:

That is completely fair. The concept was one the choices we had to animate for the project, and is heavily inspired by other work. I priority was the animation itself to be honest. I tried my best and I am willing to do more in the future, hopefully with a concept I'd like even more.
Thank you!

I liked all the different ways they did the tennis. In all seriousness, you had a diverse range of things they did. They were all pretty creative, and they weren't super exaggerated, so they didn't get stale. You had some different shots to spice things up. I liked the crowd, the bee, the shot of the bois in pink and blue silhouette forms. The outro was also pretty funny. Still, maybe you could have cut the clip down. It was a bit too long.
Overall a simple but fun movie, maybe could have been a bit shorter. Otherwise nice selection of voice clip.

Aww, thank you so much for the great critique! Glad you enjoyed it! :)

I liked the style, though the animation was quite choppy. The voice acting was nice though, and I really liked the concept. Loved how the screen guy was so pessimistic the whole time. Loved the trainwreck camera movements and cacophony of the video. The joke at the end was funny too. I thought this was the perfect length, by the way.
Keep it up, I'd like to see more from you! You've got a nice sense of humor (Seashell is my favorite character).

Haha, a trend quest. Pretty funny concept. The animation was pretty nice, the style was unique. The voice acting was really great too. I just couldn't understand what Doc said before the bike part fpr a while, I just now got it. I wish the ending went in a different direction though, it doesn't quite make sense. I expected Mac to be left supportless and Doc disappointed. I mean, this was nice and fun, but if at least Doc didn't directly hit the pokemon trainer. If he sent out a different boxer or something.
This was a neat parody, but could have been better.

Stanpai responds:

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. Doc Louis was a boxer in his prime, and I thought about what kind of silly way this two man team could try and make it to the limelight. Doc's only "Pokemon" is down and out, so why not throw the punch? I love your idea of having a second boxer on standby, and now that I think about it, I have a few ideas on how to expand this. I think if I made it longer and not for the Smash collab, there are some ideas to explore.

Really appreciate your feedback a lot! Thank you.

Well, this wasn't nearly as exciting as the first one. The "ads", while pretty funny, took away from any suspense there may have been. They were way too long. You tend to overdo the random things. That sorta "commercial over" montage was pretty fun and I really liked the thing where the bullet hole transformed. But then there was another commercial, which kinda ruined it. At the very start the narration was barely audible. Seriously, you don't need to crank up the music so much. The comedy wasn't that great either. I mean, I guess there was the thing at the end where Dick got mauled, that was pretty funny. The rest was just exaggerating mean-spiritedness in a predictable fashion. I mean, if they started shooting at the happy beast, that would have been funny. It was the logical way for that to go. I liked Smith taking the gun though. The baseball game was pretty interesting. But the story was also kinda all over the place, with the thing about Winston failing at everything.
Overall you put in too much filler, left the outlandish humor a bit by the wayside and lowered the exciting factor by a lot. I know your quality varies, so I hope we get another good one soon.

Thanks appreciate the honest feedback

The animation was quite nice and I relaly liked the style. I was worried about this, but the political satire ended up being pretty goddamn funny.
The opening narration was voice-acted a bit weirdly. The rough voice isn't really a trope, at least not like this. But the narrator quitting was really funny. I loved how both extremes were fuckin insane, and all the snow puns made it even better. ICE lol. I loved how everything turned into a huge mess and unintelligible arguing. The kids starting to laugh was also really funny, so random but I loved the chaos. The Christmas joke was also great, I love how they started talking really quickly. The Snow Mexicans joke was pretty weak though, and it was a bit hard to understand the opening lines of the Snobama guys. The ending was really funny, but making fun of your cliches doesn't automatically make you less cliched. It was a pretty cliched message in the end, though I guess it did make fun of the side that does the cliches too, so it did end up pretty neutral. The message was really that politics are pretty stupid on every side and we should stop arguing about trivialities and solve things like normal people, I guess, which, in the end, is pretty original, I think.
A good movie, and it avoided the cliches well for what it was. In the end, the kids not giving a crap was the tie-breaker. Still, it had some flaws, so only four stars.

This was very interesting. I really liked the style. The bleak colors and real (or at least realistic) backgrounds help set up a boring, shockingly normal world (the latter also reminded me of Terry Gilliam's animations). I liked the way the characters were drawn, they looked like they were very closed-minded, in the way that the mom vonstantly seemed to be smiling and no one really cared about the son (one thing I would have changed, he looks like grandpa). Then the moment he changed so that he didn't (and couldn't) comply with their idea of normality, they locked him up and hurt him. They went out to raise money, yes, but they also said he was disabled, even though it seemed like his cognitive and physical abilities were normal. The garbage piling up throughout the movie also added a lot to the oppressive feel, I guess people don't wanna make a change, get rid of the trash.
Overall a very interesting animation, pretty unique in style, with a nice symbolic message and good use of visuals overall. I'd love to see more from you!

LouisAC1996 responds:

Thank you.

The animation seemed weaker than the first one for a lot of it, but damn if it wasn't epic! I loved the development in the story, with the worm saving his rad(ish) friend like that. His strategy was brilliant and his sacrifice heart-warming. The fight with the computer monsters was cool as well, with him selecting and cutting them and stuff like that. Again we had some cool camera movement as shots.
Thsi one, I feel, had a better story, but the animation was worse. I really couldn't help but be entertained and I can't wait for the final installment if the rad trilogy next Pixel Day!

gatekid3 responds:

Yeah, the animation definately took a hit. good to know it didnt completely kill it for you

A fun concept with some nice looking animation and art and some really cool motion. The whole thing felt relaly rad, with the radish not being burdened by anything. The music was also nice. Some parts didn't have great animation, but that was mostly the start. The story (if there is one) was kinda confusing there, because of the shots of all the sickly radishes. The ending was funny though.
Overall a fun experience, but the beginning could have been better. Onto the next one!

gatekid3 responds:

Interesting, i thought the beginning was much more understandable than the end, but basically the other radishes werent as good as that one. that's all i really wanted to get accross there.

I appreciate the review
