Pretty cool looking, if you're gonna put it on here, I'll gladly watch it. The music is pretty nice and the animation looks cool and stylized, too. Maybe if you'd shown a bit more of the ended world or at least hinted at why the ronin wants revenge, that could have gotten us more interested, because I feel like at least knowing the type of apocalypse is needed, especially if you're going to be as straightforward as using the phrase "world's end". Maybe if you showed some brief glimpses of the other locations/characters too, like, say, when he made that angry face and you said in your cool voice "revenge". After that there could have been a shot of all the faces of the guys who wronged him (I'm assuming there are seven). Seven Deadly Swords is a bit on the nose, too, but whatever.

Hey! These are all great suggestions. I'm currently working on a pilot video that clarifies all the issues you bring up, so keep your eyes peeled for that in the next few months. Thanks for the feedback and the watch!

The idea seems interesting and I like the style and animation, but it's just not really funny. The robot voice is kind of funny, but I wish the concept and/or commercial itself was more bizarre. The side effects listed were funny, but there was nothing outwardly shady. Cheese making rats buff is weird but not really scammy or shady. The doctor guy was funny though, I guess.
I don't know, overall this was a bit of a missed opportunity, infomercial parodies can be a lot of fun, but you just didn't go weird enough.

SketchGarbage responds:

I absolutely agree, I think i was torn between doing something really weird and extreme but I was fighting with myself to tone it down while I was storyboarding it.

Wow, that was cool! The animation was really damn good for something made in 3 days and I liked the style, it reminds me of regular show a bit. The concept was certainly interesting. Creepy weird shit like this has been done before, but this still managed to creep me out. The slow build-up and then the entirely unexpected Onion Child, and Roy's slow descent into a mad abomination, just wow. However, the big flaw with the movie is the sound. I barely understood anything. I think you tried to hard to get a creepy weird voice and you made it too quiet/unintelligible.
Keep it up, man! I'll be following you (that sounded wrong)!

Mental-Autopsy responds:

Thanks! And yeah, the sound was due to my inexperience and the fact I was the only voice actor I had (and I usually sound like a very monotone british farmer) so yeah it turned out pretty hard to listen to. Totally agree.

Well, you had voice acting, which is nice, and the art wasn't too bad. However, the whole thing was very basic. There was no background, they're just in a void, which is a really good way to break immersion, since, you know, they're not in a world. Also, Craig's faces while the robber was talking were kinda random and made it seem like he was the one talking, since the robber wasn't moving his lips. Also, it was hard to understand the robber, could you try being more articulate? Nothing really happened either.
Keep practicing, try adding backgrounds, some semblance of a world to immerse people, be more articulate with the voice acting, have more happen in an episode, okay? Submit things that feel complete.

SergenBoyGamer responds:

I undestand it, well i will try to do a background in episode 3. and ill try to be more clear.

I just saw your previous upload, it seems you've improved animation-wise. It's really good. I like the character and his powers. That one kill with the dude who got 90% of his head vaporized was really cool in particular. The moves are cool, though the strategy isn't too complicated, nor do things ever really get difficult. I'm also not a huge fan of how he's zipping arpund so much in the latter half instead of actually running the distance. I feel it's too easy for the character, and a bit less satisfying in terms of animation. It seems you're still dimming the screen with every hit, which actually really is uncomfortable and hurts my brain after multiple watches.
Overall it's a pretty nice test for a cool character, but I'd like to see some more complex strategies and battles, as well as you getting rid of that really annoying screen stuff. Keep it up, I'd like to see a full, story-based thing from you.

Sensialito responds:

I appreciate your comment. Coincidentally I am trying to carry out an animation by telling a story. I'll get rid of the black screen. And I will take into account the most difficult battles. Only that I try to show more or less that the skills of the characters that I have created are going to be included so that after they are included in an animation, it becomes easy to recognize who is who and how far they can go. Although now that I think about it, I also had an error not to put in view the weaknesses, but I think it would be good to put them in when I carry out the project and see what comes out. xddd

That was nice! The animation was pretty good, better and arguably more original and enjoyable than the last thing I saw from you.
The story was pretty archetypal "main character wants something, main character tries to get it, main character fails comically", but still done well. These types of goofy cartoons can be fun. I liked the motivation here. Docoin's personality is fairly interesting and it's nice to see him get repaid for his selfishness in the end. I really liked the twist toward the end, when the blocks started falling in real life. Guess you shouldn't kick Tetris levers. Nice ending, too.
Keep it up, this was an entertaining watch. Just gotta keep practising your animation now and you'll be doing just peachy! Maybe don't use so many squishy sound effects though.

I really love your feedback, sir. Thank you again :)

Well, I like the artstyle. The crying Mario got me right in the feels. I liked the way you did Mario's facial expressions. However, I feel like you could have done more with the concept of Cowboy Mario. The latter part is just a bit normal, doesn't really reference that at all. If at least Bowser was given a cowboy hat or something to make him a cowboy. I guess he looked a bit Wild-West-ish but it still could have been clearer. You could have made the mushroom kingdom look different, West Virginish I don't know. It was just night time for some reason.
Keep it up, man, but you should really try harder to take full advantage of your concept and the visual gags it could bring, especially with short movies like this.

DuckDuck1ngton responds:

Thanks for your feedback :) Yeah, I need to agree on some things you said, I could've taken more advantage of it. I just did this for shits and giggles so I didn't really think too much about it. Making an animation was actually an afterthought after having drawn those sketches on paper. In case I make another animation, I'll try my best to bring the most out of it :)

That's some super smooth animation, and I like the concept. I liked the ingredients too lol. The ending is pretty nice as well, though the heart thing was kinda unnecessary, since he already was gonna turn into a fish. That camera movement when he turned into the monster was super cool. Sounds were also amiss.
Overall a fun little thing you likely made to practice. And you got the things you were practicing right. However, if you'd polished it up a bit more with sounds it would have felt a lot more satisfying and complete.

Haase2D responds:

Its nice with some feedback. I had a week to make this short so thats why there is no sound and the animation is a bit rough sometimes. I made this as an assignment for a animation school so thats why i made the heart scene, so I can show some off different methods of animation. Thank you for the feedback :)

Very short. The animation is okay, but it's not great. This is not enough to qualify for a movie. The 1:50 length is really confusing, too. There's no end here, nothing happens. Was this supposed to be a teaser? Please only submit finished works, or, if you wanna do a teaser or trailer, make sure it actually excited people, that it's not just a cut-out part from the beginning where nothing happens.

HenriAnimatez responds:

Look at the description

Haha, that was a fun little movie. I really like the style, it's super cool. The animation is a bit choppy, but I think it fits perfectly. It was looking pretty deep (geddit) and whimsical before that ending. Gotta say, it got me, though I'm not sure if this would have been better if it was more serious. I guess it's good this way. Keep it up!

Foxcato responds:

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I did most of the animation on 3's because I felt it fit the mood. So I'm glad you thought it fit too. I was thinking of going super serious with it, but in the end, I found it more fun to go this route. I've got got more stuff planned, so I'll do my best to keep it up.
