Well animated and a good message. It's also a pretty fun battle. I like how he eats the carrot in the end like a badass. I feel like you could have had the bag use some pollution powers or something. The background and the faces on the tress fit well.

VolFMaple responds:

Thank you!

Nothing interesting happened, there wasn't that much animation, it all felt quite static and even the animation you did have wasn't that good. Try having more movement so it's not boring

Zytes responds:

Any recommendations? a kamehameha doesnt really have much movement in general lol

Well animated, which is to be expected, with some great action and gore. There were some really cool moves and a lot of kill variety. I liked it wasn't just a "get in, kill everyone" type of Madness. There was comedy and I liked that magician part, especially when the guy got the wand and starting executing everyone awesomely. The elevator kill and the gun bend were both cool. So was that other time when the guy snatched a guy's gun normally. The machete kills were also awesome in their gore. I do wish we would have actually seen the G0L3M guy die. The joke was nice, but still. Also, as a suggestion, have different text for different characters. Great madness overall. I need to watch the rest of this because I have no idea what was going on.

Thank you for great review!

Ok animation, a cool idea and some neat visuals and transitions. The music fit well. I just wish this was longer because it could have been even more wild and crazy.

WillsRandomArtwork responds:

Yeah, I kept thinking the same thing... But I couldn't get anything out of my head that seemed to fit what I was working on.

Nice animation and pretty funny dialogue. Homer's voice was hard to understand though, so it took me a couple listens to figure out.

Carmet responds:

Thank you for the kind words! But yeah the reason why Homer's voice is like that is because I'm not a native English speaker. Glad to hear you enjoyed the toon!

The animation is good, but it seemed to get a bit choppy at some points. The plot isn't that original and the voice acting could use work. Why doesn't Rota have the same accent as everyone else? The narrator sounds like he slurs his lines a bit. If you need help, just ask in the Newgrounds forums. I could see this being interesting as a full series, just, like I said, ask for help with the voice acting if you can.

PiratePudding responds:

Thank you for the comment!
This film was made under a short deadline at the Animation Workshop, and I had to use the people at my disposal at the studio, so most of them weren't trained in voice acting.
This trailer is only supposed to be a note of intent, but I will do my best to have more polish for the next part.
As for the accents, most of the voices are from Danish people, except for the messenger and the Grandpa, who is not supposed to be Norse, but Slav. So he has a different accent from his granddaughter on purpose. ;)

That was fun! The animation was good, just a bit stiff, for the most part. The art was nice and fitting. At first I was just like "Ok, and...?" because it was just talking about food, but then the milk part really caught me off guard. It was just such a great segment. It was fast paced, fun, and had cool camera movement and animation (mostly in the leaves, the guy's turns weren't that smooth). The transition to that part was also really good, with the milk filling his entire body and then the camera zooming into said body to a world of wonder. The segment has certainly been done before, it isn't that original, but I couldn't help liking it. One problem, though, is that I feel like the first camera spin went on a bit too long and there was a static moment before the guy started flying which slowed it down a bit. Pretty fun overall, I hope to see more from you guys!

Lifepoint1 responds:

Thanks so much for the review! Appreciate the feedback. :)

The animation is mostly pretty fluid and the artstyle is fitting. I feel like the fight could have been a bit more articulate instead of just zipping around though. I like the end part more because you can see what's going on, it's well animated, and it feels like there's weight to the punches and kicks and it just feels right. Some of the cuts feel weird and abrupt, I think it's because of the music. The shot of Pooh's arm looks weird because of that arm. It was a smooth transition though with the movement. It would have probably looked better at 0:14 if they had come in from the right, because they were moving to the left of the screen in the last shot. The music and sound effects were pretty good.

AnUnfortunateSnuggle responds:

Thanks for comment, I appreciate it and constructive criticism! Tbf I never initially planned on making a fluid full animation, I animated the back-flipping part at the beginning, and then just continued to make short fight clips which probably explains the jarring cuts; they're all just separate clips loosley frankinstein'd together aha but thanks for the kind words, i'll take it on board :)

Didn't really stick to the theme all that much. It was also a bit too comedic. The way things started out, I thought it was gonna be all dystopian and stuff. I didn't understand what that guy said in the love action segment. His voice was a bit too robotic. The first segment was interesting but also a bit unclear. Why was the guy weirdly walking back and forth in the hallway? Was he trying to get out of the sight of the eyes? Also, is removing all the window curtains and things so the eyes are visible something people are obligated to do? His expression was pretty emotionless so you couldn't really tell. I do like that the eyes were constantly following him, that looked cool, especially in the hallway. I guess the one at the train station is kinda funny. The OJ Simpson one also made sense and was connected to the theme. The one with the little clay guys didn't really have anything to do with the theme, it wasn't government surveillance. Some of the voice lines were a bit hard to understand but I liked the idea. The one with the student guy in paper scribble form also didn't connect to the theme. I think my favorite segment was the O.J. Simpson one because it was the funniest( and it's catchy). I liked the one with the drug dealer, it was both funny and connected to the theme well. It was a pretty funny sketch show, but it just didn't answer the theme the way I expected. Also, are a lot of you Serbian? Because there were lots of Serbian references and I'm pretty sure the guys who didn't get the title were speaking Serbian.

FlowDownStream responds:

Hey, thank you for the in-depth review, it's very appreciated! FlowDownStream does not have much in the way of strict rules, and as such we do expect some amount of deviation from the theme when all of our team members put in their clips for the episode. I should also point out that the theme of the episode is "Privacy" not "Surveillance" although I will admit that both of my clips are definitely taking the surveillance side of things. Two of the people working on this episode are indeed Serbian, one of which being the director of this episode. Thanks again for the review, and for the stars.

Unsettling style, but the animation could be better. It kinda takes away from the experience. There were some cool moments, like the Devil coming out of the hands. The end was also quite smoothly animated. Some shots go on too long for no reason. The killing sequence would have been better if the guy actually showed some emotion or stabbed more wildly. This would create an ideal contrast between the calm, smiling devil and the insane violence. The style change when the devil showed up was cool.

ZeroStas responds:

Thanks for honest review. After seeing my animation again I do agree with your opinions.
