Not much animation, but the art is okay. I was a little confused at first but after rewatching and reading your description it makes sense. I quite like the concept of waking up and then the bad dream being real, or at least you thinking it's real. I know that feeling well. Maybe you could have shown some sort of outline in the dark, since in this situation, we tend to mistake everyday objects in the dark for monsters. Keep at it, man! You have some cool ideas.

Phesired responds:

Thanks for the good advice.

I am going to be honest, I wanted to draw some sort of silhouette in the dark in a POV scene but I was worried I would make my animation look tacky and spoil it with one bad looking scene, after seeing you say it too I now know it's definitely something I should of explored.

I am glad I got to take part in this project, I think with being new I am always learning, and feedback like this is always helpful.

Not the best voice acting, no sound effects for the pen dropping, not very well animated and simple art. It was a fun little story, and kinda funny too.Keep practicing your animation and art.

SimBol responds:

Thanks for the response, Yeah it was my first lip sync animation and Ops, dint saw pen drop *.*
Ill make better content next time

Not very much animation, but the art is okay. Too centered around the song which has nothing to do with actual bad dreams. Imagery doesn't seem to have much to do with the song. Also, the ending doesn't really seem like it was a bad dream. She was just dreaming about a random person singing about someone she doesn't like. Try to connect more to the theme next time and have less of it be just a barely animated person singing with nothing happening.

ToddCircle responds:

Sure, all fair points.
But but but, said random person is her mother and dream imagery was taken from stuff in the room.

Good art but not really any animation, which is fine for something like this. However, I wish you did more than just read the description. You could have used more interesting parts from the actual SCP. There's no real fitting ending because of this.

Drowsierstone responds:

hmmm ok, I will keep that in mind.

Very well animated, but the art isn't that good. I quite liked the fight, it felt very energetic, and you had a strong action axis the whole time. I suggest you just try to improve your art. Also, don't think I didn't see that guy with the Tankman shirt in the background ;)

SuperLME responds:

You have a point when it comes to the art. I made this in 3 weeks, and focused on the animation more than the art. I could of done more with the backgrounds and the character designs.
Thanks.

Good animation as usual. Pretty funny, too. It wasn't very obvious that anyone was having a bad dream, though. It was also a bit short, but it was made for a jam. I was kinda expecting a dream sequence to be honest.

ChutneyGlaze responds:

Expect the Unexpected!

The graphics fit the story pretty well, and the music does too. The music, however, gets repetitive after a while. The story isn't the most original but it's not bad. The action isn't too...action-packed because it's all pixelated and pretty slow with only a couple of moves. Maybe in the next installments you could have some cooler moves, although this does seem like a down-to-earth type of action. It really does feel like a game. I do, however, appreciate the fact that the characters (Lim and Yue) do have their own fighting styles that factor into the fight. Yue's strategy was just the right one for beating Lim. I like it when people think about the fights they make. I'm curious to see what the next episode will be like.

ar2fofficial responds:

Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave some feedback! I appreciate your point about the music getting repetitive. I've been posting one part at a time on twitter/insta so I didn't really notice how repetitive it sounds once the parts are compiled. I'll have to consider this for the next compilation.

I'm glad that you picked up on their different styles. I will be adding more moves as more skilled fighters and techniques start to appear!

Absolutely gorgeous animation that perfectly nailed the feel of a dream. The music also fit perfectly and was utterly beautiful. This kinda reminded me of Black Mirror to be honest, and I like how it wasn't overly anti-technology, in the end they still remain friends, but it stills sends a message about how the entire relationship can't play out online, as real life has all the imperfections that emphasize the good moments. If they keep living a perfect romantic fantasy, they'll be deluding themselves. Beautifully done, please keep this up!

wh347 responds:

Yes! The third season of Black Mirror came out when I was working on it, and the episode "San Junipero" rocketed to the top of my favorite list. Really appreciate your review, I think your assessment is spot on!

There wasn't really any action that I found to be as entertaining as the last one. The story was pretty good, although as some people said, the characters do seem to be introduced-and taken away- pretty quick. Also, Veronica has no reason to be at an army base. Even if she were a survivor, why would she be in the cafeteria and how has she not run into the paranoid dude at all? Regardless, it is well animated, and it's still very high-quality so I can't give it a low score.

LittleLuckyLink responds:

There were television broadcasts instructing survivors to go to the island. All hell broke loose on the island and she found herself a shelter in the cafeteria. Looking back I would have liked to have them explore the island some more and see some makeshift survivor shacks or something. You got me with Curtis though, he was just kinda randomly there.

The animation isn't fluid at all, but the art fits perfectly. For a trippy animation, this felt slow, especially the part with the time skeletons. Also, the transitions in the beginning were clear cuts instead of the preferred zoom in discreet cut. Keep this stuff up, but make sure to practice on the animation front.

ILLLOGIC responds:

Thanks for the honesty. It is a big learning curve and I enjoy the process of getting better and trying out new ideas.
