Good graphics. The battles are kinda boring because there's minimal strategy involved and most of the enemies are beaten by just spamming attack. You can only interact with things that give you items. I don't know if you can craft stronger armor or something because right now all the enmies have much more health and attack than I do, and there are no more grinding enemies. There's no way that I knowof to get out of the beginning area with the bridge guy and the saw brute. Please nerf them a little bit. There's also no save mechanic that works outside of respawning. It's never explained if you can craft items and the enemies are inconsistent in terms of sprites. Some of them are shown as little lights, same as items you can pick up, which can be confusing. Also, there's no way to run from a battle. The story's cool but could you make the twist a little less obvious?

Try a little harder, I bet you could do it to the end ^^

After all, thank you for your honest comment! I do appreciate critiques!

Possibly the weirdest game I have ever played. From the name i did not expect such high quality. The graphics fit perfectly and just had such an atmosphere to them. They were a bit of a problem sometimes when you couldn't tell what was clickable. At first I was majorly creeped out about the game, but it was really quite harmless and fun, while also being a bit...psychedelic. It was of a good length and it wasn't too easy or infuriatingly hard, although the afore-mentioned clickable confusion made it a bit harder. When I was giving the two-headed woman the cake, I couldn't figure out how to do it 'cause I was clicking all over her and nothing was happening. Also the staff towards the end kinda blended in with the background so I almost missed it. It was quite refreshing to see a point 'n' click game without verbal descriptions of everything. You have clues for pretty much every puzzle, but even the ones without clues can be solved with intuition. One thing that annoyed me were the items, which didn't appear in the order you got them but in a prearranged order, so you had to go from one page of items to the other constantly. Some puzzles annoyed me, but looking back they were all quite logical. Music was pretty cool too. Please keep making games, this was a great experience.

The graphics are pretty good like always, but some sprites just don't fit with the style. For instance, the big head zombie lady in the beginning and the receptionist. In fact, the big head lady never shows up again! That's one of the problems I have with this game. Too many pointless characters. The weird guest in the room where the 'theft' happened does nothing. You also can't talk to Borbr or Chrllt, despite them being clickable. The characters also have nothing to say about things that clearly relate to them. I figured out the mystery but I couldn't arrange the deaductions properly, although I guess that's not really your fault. In the end you can't even connect one piece of evidence to anything, because the deaduction you would get from it is already available. Maybe you could have a system where you can connect 2 deaductions together to formulate a specific conclusion but I guess that could get really unnecessarily complicated. Also, I think I've seen this story done before, but you made it unpredictable enough to be interesting.

Thank you a lot for your feedback!
About the "too many pointless characters" part, I had to add some useless character because, well, they were at a party! It would have felt quite weird if there were only a couple of guests

Nonetheless, I'll think about your opinion on the "deaductions" system, and I'll see what I can do with next episode

Appreciate the music, and it's a pretty fun tim.ewaster that makes you think. It's not too difficult or too easy. I'm not the greatest at forethought and we really don't see much ahead because we only know the next 2 numbers, but regardless, it's a fun game. I hope if you make the full version with some cool new mechancis to spice things up even more

BlackPotion responds:

Pleased to read that you liked the concept. Yeah we have a lot of new mechanics to add. The big one will be to remove the concept of life that we are not so fun of. And like you said we want to add a horizontal bar at the bottom we 5 or 6 numbers ahead.

Cool game, especially for 2001. It's not that difficult, but it sure is fun. I like how every level has 3 outcomes, and every single outcome is fun to watch. It's very well animated and entertaining. I also like how you can watch all the animations in the menu after you're done.

Interesting idea. Gameplay isn't the most original, but I like the twist you put on it. However, unless you're playing in multiplayer, the game is far too easy, because the A.I. never tries to use the power. Actually, it took me a while to figure out what the power was for, because in the description you said cooperation, so I thought I was helping the opponent. You should also add sounds and/or music. It was made for a game jam, so I don't see why you couldn't expand on it later, after the jam is over.

hotfooted responds:

thanks for the feedback. agree with everything you said. first ai i ever did and striking a balance is difficult. when i get some time i'll make the changes you recommend.

A seemingly simple concept, but it shakes it up not long after it starts. It reminds me of It's just Tic Tac Toe in a way, only shorter. The gameplay itself is decently challenging. It took me a while to get the one that goes into the negatives right. The art is quite minimal but that actually suits it. A pretty cool meta game. I hope you expand on this concept.

Jaswir responds:

Thanks for your review.
"The one that goes into the negatives" => The one where the ball bounces?

Amazing art and a great tribute to all the original dark and creepy fairy tales.Gameplay and controls are good as well. All the different deaths made it fun to play and there was more than one way to go about completing it. The medals were a nice touch and help you keep track of the deaths. Man, does this have atmosphere, it's creepy, but it doesn't overdo it. I love a game like that.
